I Love You, Beth Cooper is a light, frothy high school romp that showcases teen angst and manages to deliver some real belly laughs. Hayden Panettiere, star of Heroes, has the time of her life as the title character, riffing on the stereotype of Popular Girl with Hidden Bad Streak. As her lovelorn would-be suitor, Denis, Paul Rust is both nerdy but pretty fearless in his acting and in his pratfalls. Denis decides to announce his long-held love for Beth from the podium as he delivers the high school valedictory speech. Beth, initially horrified, decides she can have some fun with Denis as a worshipful accessory. Along the way, each learns a little about who the other person really is--and yes, there are some "growth" moments. But the fun is in the vixen Beth and the dorky Denis interacting. Denis holds a pile of junk food in a convenience store as they shop, and Beth says, "Yum!" Denis rolls his eyes, saying, "My mom says 'yum.'" ... packed - as described - no hassles - would recommend Production values were fine
No spoilersarrived promptly - no damages - well packed - as described - no hassles - would recommendProduction values were fine. the acting was ok. HP - I can't spell her name.- was not exactly wooden but didn't exactly light up the screen.The lead did as well as he could with the story but.... it just all seemed like deja vu. A series of clichéd scenes to tell the story of a no chance nerd with an infatuation for a 'vacuous' cheerleader - sorry head cheerleader.No jaw dropping surprises - nothing super new - Thankfully no godawful teenage male self abuse scenes. Considerately not a long running time because the story was already stretched enough. It' all seemed like it had been done better before they just joined the party too late.The only redeeming features were the nerds father who actually seemed like a normal well adjusted father and the ending they went for (there is an alternative ending in the extra features which they had the good taste to not use). And the final good feature which is the only different feature with these films and credit HP was one moment of good acting towards the end of 'cheer' in the gym the same moment again in the closing scene. Those two moments alone got it one more star.ACID TEST: would I buy it again/recommend - not really

A very funny romantic comedy!
Very funny and romantic comedy, about a virgin guy who invites Beth to his graduation party - and is surprised when she, and two of her friends, show up... but so does her jealous marine boyfriend with two other marines who want to kill the poor guy! A definitely good movie.

Good For A Fiver
Good movie, Hayden is decent in this and plays her part well as do all the leads, the ending could have been better as its left open a little but a nice good for a fiver movie.

If you are into teen flicks then this is certainly a great, fun movie to watch. My boys loved it!
