I’m not one to write reviews, never have actually so this is my first one but after a couples months of use I just had to leave my thoughts for those on the fence. My baby was very heavily reliant on swaddling to be able to sleep and had a really aggressive startle reflex so when trying to take it away it was a total nightmare. I decided to give this one a try after failing over and over to get him to sleep without a swaddle. I’m so glad I did cause he loves this transitional swaddle! Been about 3 months of using it and I’ve gotten him back in his own sleep space and taking naps independently again and having longer stretches of sleep (on days/nights I don’t use it cause it’s dirty he doesn’t sleep as long and wakes himself up all night). It’s contoured enough to feel “snug” but still has plenty of leg room and can still put his arms down but helps lessen the arm flailing a lot. Love the double zipper feature and it’s very soft and just thick enough to keep him warm but not overheat. I highly recommend this product for the parents out there struggling to transition out of a traditional swaddle. I got the green one for reference, I read other reviews that said different colors seem to have different fabric and construction and the green one seemed to have the best construction so I went with that one and am definitely gonna get a few more now that I know my baby likes it. Amazing product, especially for the price. As a first time parent, transitioning our baby out of the swaddle felt overwhelming. We started using this transitional swaddle for naps and our baby took really well to it, we were able to move to using it overnight within a few days with limited sleep interruption. Subdues the startle reflex just enough to keep baby sleeping while also allowing for more freedom/movement. Our baby is 13lbs and medium size has perfect amount of snug. Fabric & zipper seem high quality, although its definitely on the thinner side so better for warmer months or you would need to layer warm PJs under.

My FAVORITE transition swaddle! This was so soft and easy to use. It washed super good, we only use cold to wash! It kept her nice and warm but not too hot, it felt snug on her so it kinda had the swaddle feeling. We used this until we could switch to a sleep sack and it was so nice to have! I would buy again!

Can't believe how perfect this design is. As a newborn, my little guy slept ok with arms-in swaddles. But he soon began to roll over into his side which woke him up. Around 7 or 8 weeks old, he was able to wiggle himself to the side of the bassinet, whack his head on the wall of it, and even topple all the way over onto his stomach. Without a swaddle, he simply wouldn't sleep. This transitional swaddle was EXACTLY what we needed! He can sleep soundly through the night. When he rolls on his side, his head rests on his arm. His arms keep him from falling over or hitting his head on the bassinet. He has the perfect balance of freedom and security. My husband and I have peace of mind that he won't suffocate face down. We couldn't be happier with the quality and design. Zippers and fabric are fabulous. Excited to buy a couple more!

I have three of these and the blue and teal ones are great! My baby sleeps well in these. However the gray one (with the striped detail around the neck) I just bought is HUGE. They are all medium size and the gray one is at least three inches longer than the other two. Sizing needs to be consistent especially when it says “body weight is most important when selecting size for this garment. For proper fit do not size up”. This medium gray one could be a large.

My baby LOVED being swaddled as a newborn, but obviously we couldn't continue when he started trying to roll. We tried a couple other sleep sacks that were given to us & he hated them so I started looking for something else. Enter this wonderful creation! The snug torso still kind of feels like a swaddle, but his arms are free to move & push his head up if he rolls over. We didn't use the fold-over cuffs long, but they seemed comforting for him as we started transitioning him. The fabric is soft, cottony, but stretchy and thin so I can still put him in a long sleeved onesie or sleeper under it. They're also not insanely expensive compared to other transitional sleep sacks!!

Love this transition swaddle! Helps my 3 month old baby get to sleep without having to swaddle her arms. She can keep them up by her face. Love the option to leave the hands out. Double zipper is nice for night time diaper changes. Use this also with a sleeper and baby is comfortable through the night and does not get overheated.
