Major Hairbrush (Stiff)

When I took it out of the box, I thought, this won’t do because the bristles are very short, as well as the handle. As soon as I brushed my hair, I was thrilled! This is a great hairbrush! My hair is thin, dry, and frizzy, but this brush makes my hair manageable and soft! Although the brush is expensive, I think it’s worth the extra cost. I highly recommend this brush for persons whose hair is similar to mine.

I enjoy using this brush. Fits well in my hand and the bristles do a masterful job of stroking my hair and beard. The bristles are not too soft or too stiff.

This is bar none, the best beard brush I have ever used. They say you can use this on your hair, but for me it is the consummate beard brush. The wood is an excellent piece of pearwood, and feels very sturdy. The handle is nice, but you'll usually use it just to balance the brush in your hand, and use your thumb to apply pressure to the beard. The boars bristles are just about as stiff and strong as a wire brush. I'm not being hyperbolic, it feels like pulling a wire brush across your face, which is at first a little unsettling. This is what you want, trust me. When you look at the brush later you will notice the exfoliating power of this brush. After using this brush daily, (for less than 2 minutes at a time) you will notice that your beard is no longer itchy, not matter how long it is. This brush removes a lot of dead skin, and allows your face to feel clean. If you use beard oil, fear not. This brush accepts oil, and is great at spreading it throughout the beard. I imagine if your beard is not so long, you might go easy with this brush due to the strength of the bristles. For longer beards, you can really go to town, and this brush will get your hairs to sit down flat without trouble. No other brush has been able to do this for my beard. The craftmanship of this brush seems such that it should last many years with good care, which according to the instructions mainly consists of not getting the brush overly wet. The wood seems to be stained, but not lacquered or finished, and so I imagine long contact with water would allow the wood to absorb too much water and become damaged. OVERALL GRADE: A+ + Excellent craftmanship, wood feels great and smooth + Super strong bristles, they feel like a wire brush + Brush is great at exfoliating (keeps beards from itching)
