Ion Snow Cap Creme Toner Snow Cap

I thought this was a toner (icy white). Well the tube says permanent color. I have ugly salt and pepper hair so i dye the back 1/2 black and bleach and tone the front usually with the other brand t18. I thought i would give this a try . I mixed 1/2 the tube with 20vol cream developer. I had some black roots in front growing out i didn't want to bleach it out as my hair is near fried. I applied it to my hair all the way to tge roots and figured well since its black its going to come out black because this stuff is not designed to lift hair color just greys. Well to my astonishment the roots change color it had a hue on it no longer black I constantly get compliments on my hair from everyone and every where i go. From the Drs office to the Mall to the Airport to Whole Foods. As an old woman I am so happy with this product and hope they NEVER change the formula.

this toner is amazing this is what icy white on dry hair for 15 minutes 10 developer came out as ! it is whiter than t18 but beware when ur hair is wet it looks grey like dark grey then when ur in outside or bright lighting it looks like this bright white. t18 looks less grey when wet or in dark lighting but the icy white definitely gives a white affect not platinum that t 18 does. try it out my hair was originally level 9-10 it will not look good on anything darker fyi

This toner worked well for me. It did make my hair slightly darker gray, but it worked well on the yellowish hair.

This felt like it did nothing for my hair. I used the ion bleach and developer so I figured I should get the ion toner as well to use after. I followed the directions on the box and it seems like it did absolutely nothing. After seeing other reviews maybe I just did something wrong because it seemed to work for everyone else but I wish I wouldn’t have wasted my money for a product that didn’t change a thing about my hair color.

Even when following instructions perfectly, this will leave your hair silver when trying to achieve platinum blonde. I purchased two boxes of this toner & one box arrived busted up with the tube unpackaged. The toner was deeply saturated in my hair during application and washed out extremely patchy, leaving yellow splotches behind.

I have some very beautiful white hair coming out in my temple area & this color I used to put highlights in the rest of my hair to blend in the white hairs that were coming in in the rest of my head. It looks very nice but not as nice as my natural white hair which is more white, but until my natural color comes in it makes me look more uniform with no brassy tones.

Good colour, easy to apply although it is quite expensive and you do need to purchase a developer too
