Works perfectly, love the ability to run it on batteries or a 12v cigarette lighter. No more mess selling fuel when filling up the car. Well, almost. The almost 15 inches that sit submerged in the fuel still need to drip dry and then be cleaned, but better than spilling it all over the garage floor and much easier contained.

I bought this to transfer diesel fuel to my boat fuel tank from 10 and 20 litre plastic cans. I have used jiggle hoses and funnels in the past. The pump is way less messy, and offers much better control. So far it has worked flawlessly, and would replace it if it got damaged.

Great idea I take too lager for my 20ltr cans so won’t go in , non of the adaptors fitted any fuel containers I had, suspect they are an American size? So returning

So first of all, this pump does have floors. I can say that I was able to completely use this to my satisfaction however for the job I purchased it for, which is fueling my bat from 20L tanks. The issues: - I have four different fuel tanks (bought in the UK) and only one of the thread adaptors fit. The others are the right size but just a completely different thread to that on the tank. Saying that though I just drop the pump on and it still works perfectly fine without screwing it on. - Secondly, it does not auto cut off at all. The pump just keeps running forever until I turn it off. Again this is fine as I can move the pump around in the can to get the last drops. - it would have been useful to have a non- return valve on the feed pipe as any fuel left in this runs back into the can, whereas turning the device upside down would allow it to run into the outlet tube and into my fuel tank. For the price, it pumps extremely quickly and does the job for me and for the price I have purchased a 2nd one as a backup. Just need to make sure you keep an eye on it so it doesn't run dry.

I have 4 x 20 litre diesel cans (bought from Amazon) and this thing doesn't have a connector that fits. And given that it has a weighted tank pipe and not a stalk it just creates mess. Otherwise I like the fact I can connect it to the 12v with croc clips and is good quality build compared with many. If it wasn't for the fact it doesn't have an adapter it would be a 5 star. Suggest you check you cans before buying or do what I am going to have to do and buy a can that fits the pump

Great unit expected to be using 12 volts but works great with 4 AAA batteries definitely recommend

I got this to help fuel the boat and generator. I waited too long to try it out. The suction motor runs but when you put it in fuel it stops. I'll end up taking it apart and putting a toggle switch on the motor since I'm past the return period - that is, if I can. I gave it 2 stars because it is a cool tool to have and comes with multiple power source adapters that do work. Like I said though, the China made junk don't work right. Edit: USER ERROR. Yeah, I said that. The output nozzle CANNOT be in contact with the fuel that may already be in the vessel being filled. Using 4 AA rechargeable batteries it pumps 4.5 gallons in 2-3 minutes. I've pumped around 15 gallons so far and it works great. I changed my rating from 2 to 5 stars.

La uso normalmente per travasare benzina in un aeroplano, fusti da 28 litri. Funziona bene e le pile durano parecchio. Gli adattatori presenti nella confezione non sono fatti per i nostri fustini, peccato ! Comunque è un buon prodotto e fa il suo lavoro !
