I’ve been using the C3 50 lbs. 3" Stabilized Chlorine Tabs all summer, and I have to say these are some of the best chlorine tabs I’ve tried. They dissolve nice and slow, which keeps my chlorine levels steady without me having to constantly check and adjust. The 3-inch size is just right for my floater and skimmer, and unlike other brands I’ve used, these don’t crumble or leave a messy powder at the bottom of the bucket. You can tell they’re solid quality. What I love most is how long the bucket lasts. With a 50-pound supply, I don’t have to keep running back to the store every few weeks. One bucket pretty much takes me through the season, and my pool stays crystal clear the entire time. If you’re tired of dealing with weak or fast-dissolving chlorine tabs, give these a try. They really do the job, and I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth.

I researched, researched, and RESEARCHED tablets for our new pool. I love this bucket because the 3" tab size is perfect, they are all individually wrapped, so I just grab however many I need, making them easy to use, AND clean up is easy as well. The dissolution rate is normal. No tablets were broken that I have found thus far from delivery. Overall, I recommend and say at least try them before purchasing a more expensive brand.

The tablets will resolve quicker if your floating tablet holders are open fully. Some people don’t realize that they can be adjusted. I have two floating containers in my 27 foot round. I still use the liquid but these help me to have to put in less. I’ve also tossed one in the sump pump crock too. I don’t feel they resolve too quickly. I did get a couple broken pieces because that happens during shipping as the delivery people toss the bucket around because it is heavy. 50 pounds. I just put the broken pieces in the containers with the whole ones. It works fine. I didn’t realize that they are individually wrapped. That’s great for some people, probably most, but I had hoped they weren’t just because I’m lazy and didn’t want to have to toss them away. Without the wrapping they are much stronger smelling. My pool water looks great. We do also use an algicide but to be honest it’s the chlorine that keeps the pool from getting algae. We use the algicide when we open the pool each year. I did have a little trouble opening the bucket the first time but my husband had no problem. Being wrapped does keep them cleaner but I still use gloves when I open them and don’t wear good clothes just in case. It is after all a very concentrated bleach. I find them easy to use. Better than granules. It’s quick and easy to fill the floating containers that hold the tablets.

These are the best price I found on 3" tablets. They appear to work as well as anything else. My complaint, which they promote as a selling point, is that they are individually wrapped. I personally do not like that I have to open each one: and for whatever reason a large number of tablets are in multiple pieces.

These chlorine tablets are great, and last a long time, the big 50lb bucket last me a couple of years even adding them as needed, I alternate the tablets with the Arm & Hammer baking soda tablets and they keep the water clear and clean. They have gone up in price since I got my pool, but still have to have them, this is the best value I found for them searching all over the internet! They arrived in a couple of days so I didn't have to worry about running out of my last order. I will buy again when I need chlorine tablets. I even break them up and add them to my spa as the small ones don't last and are expensive, these work great for the spa too!
