The best performance router I have seen till date
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this 1week back.ISP: AIRTRL XTREAM fiber BROADNAND 200MBPSPrevious router with ISP provided: ---Airtel Nokia router dual band, speed in 2.4ghz getting near the router 40-80mbps, in another room 15mbps with 2walls.5ghs band of Nokia router in the same room 230mbps, netgear orbi in access mode 280mbps.Where as tp link be 800 in 2.4 ghz 80-100mbps with 2wall distance. In the same room 180-220mbps.Tp link with 5ghz- same room 480mbps, with 2walls 440-460mbps.See the difference double the speed than ISP offering. Main difference is hardware inside this , more efficient radios 160& 320& it's power supply. Phone I am using ---galaxy s22U for above test. Where my phone displaying side of wifi signal 6. I feel little expensive, but justifies with it's unbelievable performance and Future proof.

Performance at its best
Pros:1. 10Gbps WAN/Lan ports and SFP+ port2. WIFI speed, coverage and backwards compatibility3. 4x2.5Gbps LAN ports4. Performance and Stability5. Future proof WIFI 7 technology (even though not yet certified)6. Easy to setup, manage and monitorWireGuard VPNCons:1. Security features are subscription based2. Lack of features, like DNS over TLS (DoT/DoH)3. Lack of App traffic monitoring per device4. Lack of advanced Network Configurations, like OFDMA and MU-MIMO; Transmit Power options and others5. Lack of phone tethering via USB to use it's 4G/5G network as internet backup sourceSo, I have 2Gbps from my ISP at home. I previously used the ASUS RT-AX86U, with quad core 1.8Ghz CPU and 1GB RAM. I was using the 2.5Gb Port for my WAN connection. This was causing so much issues - it was constantly bugging and dropping the Wan speed to 600Mbps and I had to reset the router to resolve the issue. This was happening once a month or two, but with the new firmware updates (which one wouldn't want to miss because they patch critical security vulnerabilities) it started to happen every week or so. In general I am disappointed with all ASUS Products - Laptops, monitors, routers. Yes, they have many features, which TP-Link unfortunately misses (I will talk about this below), but the bugs outweighed the usefulness! So, the TP-Link BE800 (BE19000):1: Size, weight and build quality: It is bigger than some small form factor PCs out there. The upper part is kind of hollow which allows for great passive cooling of the router (honestly it's running cooler than my previous ASUS RT-AX86U router). The build quality is great and stylish, which I like in comparison to antennas sticking out.2. Easy to setup: You have a choice - web interface with cable or using the Tether app. I used the first. Everything is pretty simple and straightforward (at least for me, since I have a Network Engineering background )3. Performance and signal coverage: It simply works! I have around 20 devices at my home + attached an external USB3.2 HDD. CPU usage is very low and RAM usage is around 64% (Screenshot attached). With the same setup on my previous router I got 98% RAM usage with much more heat being generated. I have few WiFi 6E devices and across even one wall (metal and bricks and glass) I get my 2Gbps speed on the 6GHz band, which is amazing! With my previous ASUS RT-AX86U I could get a maximum of 800Mbps at the same location and around 1.1Gbps near the router itself. So the coverage and the speed are perfect for my 3 room apartment.4. Compatibility and Features: All my devices - WIFI 4 to WIFI 6E are compatible with the network setup. I love the 10Gbps LAN/WAN ports, which allows me to connect to my ONT converter which also has 10Gbps LAN port. I can finally use my whole bandwidth effectively on the WiFi. The Admin interface is a bit dull though. I am missing the DNS over TLS feature, which the ASUS has and from security perspective, this is a MUST for me! There is the option to configure another DNS manually, but I can't encrypt the traffic. Hopefully this feature will be added with the future Firmware releases. There is no built-in speed test on the WAN port, like my RT-AX86U had and this is something I liked. The worst though is that if you want to use the more advanced HomeShield Pro security features, you need to pay for subscription, while the same and more security features are totally free in the ASUS Routers in general. TP-Link should learn from them in that respect. Also, there are no options to track which apps are being used on the network from which device (App traffic monitoring) which is convenient. Well there is, when you enable parent control, but in the ASUS router those two are separate features, as it should. Conclusion: Well, as I said in the beginning, the bugs that the ASUS Router "offers" are not worth the feature that it offers in comparison to the TP-Link BE800. The performance and stability gains I get with the BE800 are so much more worth than the features and subscription free security on the RT-AX86U. Even the price, which is a bit much, is worth in comparison to the bugs, which the ASUS router "offers" :D
