Simple a great little radio.
Ok where to start? Size, functions, features are just great. Took a little time to work out how to set the rig to the correct band and channel set required but when learned it does make sense. The manual is rudimentary and really needs to updated to give more detail about its functionality and what the functions actually do and mean. (If I get time one day I might do it and send it to CRT) Back to the frequency / bands covered by this little rig I’m surprised that it’s allowed to be sold in the uk as you can access bands that are for other countries. Also band that the UK needs a license for. Functionality if great if so a little bit fiddly. The channel, volume, squelch and all other features are controlled by the rotary knob after selecting the function. ie select volume then you can select volume level. Note that the default is for channel selection. All in all great but be prepared to fiddle, setup and possibly program before you are happy with how you want it.

Good piece of kit
There isn't anything I don't like about this little radio except possibly the manual? I am a returning CB'er after an absence of around 40 years and my old AM Cobra was very different as it was born in the 1970's.. This gem of a radio does need some understanding but gradually i am getting used to it and wont let it go. CB radio is far better than mobile phone tech and somehow far more personal and fun to use. The rig is really well made and solid and is sold as Ryker and other manufacturers all over the globe. Its possible to pick up all the American channels as well as the EU and UK CB frequencies and surprisingly all the HAM frequencies as well. Once i get used to it all again this rig is gonna be the bees knees.

Small and well built.
So, early days and I'll add to this as time goes on. The unit is small and well built. The menus in the unit are not explained in the manual...if you are a radio enthusiast you might be ok, but a debutant is going to struggle. 10m and 11m. I wish the unit has a separate volume switch....volume is accessible by pushing p4 and turning the control knob...a bit tedious. Listening on AM is entertaining, lots of chat coming from America. Anyone thinking of getting back into CB might first look at PMR446 radios that are comparable in cost...a lot of people are now on VHF/UHF.

Solid and durable.
You get more than you expect with this radio. Once you learn how to open it up into factory settings you can choose HF mode 25 to 30 Mhz and three different power settings 4 - 8 and 15 Watts. Perfect little FM citizen band radio . For the money you can't go wrong. Solid and durable

Great CB for lorry
Bought this just about a week ago, lovely little rig, smaller than I thought it would be but ideal, use it in my lorry(Hgv 1) For those of you who are struggling to get it onto UK band this is how it’s done...Turn rig off then push function button(top right corner) and keeping finger on button turn the rig back on,you should then have a screen with the country codes on it,UK is represented with the letter U hope this helps, had issues myself but contacted seller who was quick and supportive with a solution...highly recommend
