Follow directions!
To be accurate, I haven't opened this bottle yet. Recently I put on a new pocketed polo shirt and put my pen in the pocket. A few hours later I realized the cap had come off and I had a large blue ink stain spreading across the bottom seam of the pocket. I found my old bottle of Amodex ink and stain remover, almost empty and quite some years old. I followed the directions and brushed in a good quantity of the remover. Initially, the ink stain spread, but after a cold water rinse most was gone. I did a second treatment and rinsed again. Next day that shirt went into the regular laundry. It came out without the slightly indication of any stain. The ink was gone, the light green polo was not faded at the treatment area and all looked just as good as new. Having used the last of my supply, I immediately re-ordered a new bottle (was pleased to find the exact product still be offered through Amazon). It doesn't do much for stains that have been set in, so best advice is do not try washing the stain first. Let the product do its work on the fresh stain and you'll likely have the same success that I did.

Everyone needs this!
Unbelievable, got this today. I have a favorite pink sweat shirt w/ink on it. I couldn't get ithe ink out so I could only wear the shirt around the house. I saw this, ordered it & put it on the ink spots. Put a folded paper under the spotted areas, rubbed the spots w/the back of a kitchen knife, add more solutuon to the spots, bloated the spots & repeated. Spots are completely gone & my sweatshirt is in the washer. I am delighted. Everyone needs a bottle of this.

It works on set in blue ink stain
This works. I had a one year old blue ink stain on my tan rug. I had tried everything in the world and it would not come up. I sprayed this product on scrubbed with a brush and then rinsed it up and it was like 90% gone. I did it a second time and I put the carpet cleaner Machine on top so that the brush rotated to really scrub it in. Then I rinsed it with water and my wall-to-wall carpet is saved truly amazing how it could possibly take up a big blue ink stain ( my puppy had chewed a pen) that had fully set in. I’m a fan..

Magic in a bottle
I had blue pen ink all over my laundry, which I then unknowingly ran through the dry cycle. The stains were about two weeks old by the time I tried amodex on them, and after rubbing it in with my fingernail it just melted the blue away! It's a thin gel which makes it pretty easy to apply, and I love that it's skin safe.

Works like Magic
As I was zipping my son's white coat, my cracked bloody fingers (from the cold weather) smeared blood all over the coat!I was so upset as blood is terribly hard to remove - especially from white.Luckly, my mom had this product in her hous!I used hers and was astonished how easy it was to use and how it leaves trace of blood!First thing I did when I came home was order this product!I have used it so many times since and love it!

Did not work any better than less expensive products.
Did not work as well as I had hoped. Still trying to get a stain from a shirt. Did not work at all on outdoor chair cushions.

Removed oil stain on polyester fabric
I used this product on a salad oil stain on a pair of men's slacks. The stain was over a year old and has been washed several times. after applying the product and washing the slacks the stain was gone. I anticipate using this product on many future stains.
