I am not sure why I didn't buy one of these many years ago, my shop guys use this daily. It has really cut out missed identified threads.

I liked these ok. Everything you need here. On chain won't lose them. The "bad" is the threading isn't the best I've ever seen, some rough. But usable. The "good" all on a chain so don't lose them & all in one place for all sizes A few burrs but easily fixed. I recommend this product. They work great. At good price. The metal is dry so a little. Vasaline or light oil on the ones u use makes it easy to use. I'd buy again & recommend good price

Very happy I choose this set over many others. Much easier to try bolts and nuts separately from those attached to boards.

Every home and garage should have one of these! If you tinker in your garage or are a do-it-yourself type of person that does not believe in tossing everything to the landfill this is great! Never worry about purchasing the correct nut or bolt again, no need to remove a nut or bolt from your project to match up at the hardware store. If time is a short or you cannot get out and you need to order your replacement / project nuts and bolts you now know the correct size with no guessing! The quality is good, they function great. Threads are accurate and clean. A true value over the plate style and a money time saver! Definitely 5 stars, if 10 could be given I would give it 11!

I need one of these for years. Instead........ I was stubborn and had my bench mounted plate thread checker that does not fit well into my tool box. Size does matter. This is inexpensive, good quality material, seems to be durable and the fit for my tool box is excellent, to save space. Good price for the Quality.

Nice and convenient

I gave the whole set only 3 stars for one pretty important reason with the silver METRIC. It's not legible type. The black SAE are fine. They are both obviously etched with a lazer or some other etching process. The etching process isn't as visible on the zink. So, I tried several ways of trying to rub different marking products (Sharpie, paint pen, etc) on the type, then wipe of the excess. It still didn't help to darken the type. Either way, in the correct light the type is visible enough to distinguish the sizing. Too bad that when you see a photo in an ad, the product doesn't show up looking the same. I guess its just the times where we find a decent price, then figure out why. $10 more and maybe it wouldn't be an issue. I'll keep the set, but that's my two cents. Maybe the set you receive will be fine. 😉

Doing a project that has both sae and metric, it’s a big help. It’s decent quality and I would recommend.
