I ultimately returned this but not for quality reasons. It worked just fine and seemed to be of good quality. I ordered it to keep ceramic glazes moving and suspended while glazing, but wasn’t thinking about the magnets when ordering. It pulls the iron right out of the glaze! Duh! 🙄 Not the brightest moment of my life.

AnyLab Stirrer arrived quickly, well packaged and I found it to be of very good quality. It came with four diffent sized magnetic stirring "pills" and I held the longest one in my fist and brought it close to the stirrer base to test the strength of the unit. The base turns on with a solid "Click" and the speed adjustment is smooth and firm. At just "ON", the pill had no motion, but it was definitely attracted to the rotator under the base table surface As I increased the speed adjustment knob the "Pill" in my hand tried to stay in sync with the drive magnet and it vibrated strongly in my hand, even an inch above the table. Definitely a very effective stirrer that will probably do quite well, even with thick or viscous fluids. I'm going to use it to mix some vinaigrette dressing instead of shaking it. I'll also try it to mix some flavor syrup (liquor) into my coffee. Lab work? Yes, it'll do that too. The manual says it takes only 3 watts, but seems stronger than that. Overall rating: Great!!! Mine even came with a nice long Magnetic Pill Retriever.

Quality stir plates cost $100s of dollars. This will never be mistaken for one of those. But for the price I was surprised how well it works. Needs a little care at startup, but that's OK. Been running for a while, still works and nothing is getting hot.

Sometimes doesn't like to go, gotta give it a little tap. But overall for the money this thing has been great.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Strong motor, mixers and magnetic wand are an absolute must for continuous mixing.

Compact, magnets seem strong, Works well with the first try on the smoothy. But, once the smoothy (frozen fruit (berries and others) and yogurt had settled it would not stir the whole thing. It really tried!

Works very well and good value as it comes with the "beans" and a retriever stick.

So I will say that the magnetic stir function itself works really well, fast to get spinning to speed and will force a spin in tough solutions so it does work well and if you actually read the sizing you won't be disappointed but I do feel like the pic is a bit deceptive as it's much smaller looking in real life. The beaker in the pic must be like 200ml because a regular low form 1,000ml beaker goes right to the edge.

It is unassuming and easy to use. I use it to make structured water.
