Cheap, underwhelming
To get shells to eject, you have to yank against an obnoxioussly tough spring while worrying you'll break the cheap plastic. There's no good way to grip the slide.Too hard to use for kids. Too basic and clunky for adults.

Jams a lot
This is a really neat foam bullet toy, but I found that it jams often and the shells are an unnecessary feature. They just make more parts to assemble every time you load a magazine and more parts to hunt for on the floor.

This is not for ages 3 and up.
This toy is pretty advanced. In the description it says ages three and up. The orange tip is removable, making it look very realistic. This toy has got a lot of weight to it. The foam bullets are neat. The shell discharge works and is really cool. The outside of the box says ages 14 and up. The Amazon listing description says 3 and up. That needs to be changed. Definitely not something for a 3 year old. Maybe 10 and up.

Very accurate toy!
This toy is made of a hard plastic type material that fit foam ammo inside. The toy is very accurate my son set up a target so we could play a game of who gets the most points on the target. The toy is so accurate it was hard to miss the target with it. We have had fun spending many hours playing with this toy and absolutely love it. Great product that is made well. Two thumbs up!

Shells often gets jammed
this is an okay troy. i expected a little better. often times when you place the shells in the magazine and chamber it, they often get stuck, and the foam bullets are not snug in the shells and often fall out inside the gun when the shells gets jammed in the gun and it makes it very annoying. the times it does work, it works fine, but it is very finnicky

Cool toy, but shell ejection jams frequently
I'll start by saying this is a decent toy gun. It looks good, feels good to hold and fire, and is fairly accurate with decent firing distance. No battery power required, as the bullets are propelled by a spring-loaded mechanism that you prime by cocking back the gun (and thus chambering the bullet) before each shot. But a few shortcomings hold it back, hence the 3 stars. Most importantly, the shells often don't eject properly when cocking back the gun and get jammed, requiring manual removal of the shell using a finger while holding back the cocking mechanism. It's awkward and annoying, and if it only happened rarely, I wouldn't mind too much. But it jams almost every other bullet fired. It's a real shame, since whenever it does work as intended and ejects properly, it looks cool. Another thing I dislike, but which is more common among these sorts of toy guns, is that there are too few magazines included relative to the number of bullets provided. As a result, you fire off 2 magazines relatively quickly and then are forced to sit there and awkwardly load more bullets into the empty magazines to keep playing. I understand that the bullets are probably considerably cheaper to make than the magazines, but I'd be open to a slightly higher price for more included magazines. Finally, I noticed the manual listed and showed a "silencer" as being included, but there wasn't one in the box, so I'm wondering if the product listing has changed since they manufactured it. Honestly, it probably wasn't necessary so I can understand why they chose to remove it but forgot to update the manual.
