Utterly delicious!
Utterly delicious, good quality and smooth as silk. It is the only houmus my husband can eat (he has MND) safely, and it has a wonderful taste and reminds us of our many holidays in Cyprus. I love it too! I would definotely recommend it for flavour and smoothness. I use it as a replacement in my sandwiches, for butter. Wonderful with olives and sundried tomatoes.

Handy wee long life packs, very, very smooth texture
Be aware that this is very smooth and that texture may be off putting (I spread it on crunchy toast, so that's not an issue for me, but its's a bit smooth for a comfortable dipping experience). The pack life is very good, and the packs are fairly small, which is good for the long life thing - it's around half the size of those supermarket tubs. Not worht £6, which I see if the current price, but not bad value for under £4.

The Very Best You Can Buy
If you are unable to get hummus from a restaurant to enjoy an authentic real taste, and texture of Homous , then Kasih Homous is the one you need to get, no other on the market either canned on shelves nor the refrigerated ones with funny texture and contains spices, garlic, citric acid and so on , others have so many ingredients and preservatives , this one could be mistaken with ones from takeaways in Arabian countries , it's that good, no worries about storage, you can simply store anywhere , well protected and long expiry date ,the way I open it is by lifting both flaps on top and cut preferably with a pair of kitchen scissors ,then lifting one of the flaps at bottom of the container and make small cut, this allows air in the pack which pushes out all content of the golden delicious hummus, then it's up to individuals , one can just add good olive oil and use pita bread to scope or you could crush tiny clove garlic along with green chilli and mix with lemon and add to the top then olive oil , then enjoy ,I hope this helped 😊

Sweet and vanillary so not what I was looking for.
I didn't like this, it was a bit sweet so wasn't what I was looking for in hummus. I'm sure many would find it tasty but if you're looking for a savoury slightly garlicky dip then I wouldn't go for this one.Did have a long date on it & kept well for camping

Surprisingly delicious!
Really nice, even straight out of the carton. I added a tiny drop of EV olive oil, a tsp of chopped sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and lemon juice and it was amazing! Will definitely buy again.

Nothing like hummus
A very thick paste of chickpea and tahini. It tastes like what it is: chickpeas mixed with tahini. It does not taste like hummus. I have had hummus made by people from the Middle East and it was nothing like this. This is like 'hummus concentrate'. It is very heavy. It comes out of its carton like toothpaste from a tube. Mixed with lemon juice & cumin, I found it perfectly palatable, but not by itself.

Fine Hummus indeed!
For shelf made hummus I have found none better and it beats most store-bought (Waitrose, M&S, Tesco...) hummus in London UK. If you adjust this hummus you will find its texture and taste satisfactory. I added some smoked paprika, dash of cumin, olive oil and Zatar and was pleased. For a quick always handy solution it is well worth it. In pita with pickle and some pitted Kalamata olives enjoyable. It is not a restaurant or homemade grade by any means, but not far off and you can hack it to reach a good level of taste experience.

With dried goods and tins, food can often be absolutely fine for *years* after the BBE (Best Before End). If a tin is dented or looks \"bloated\", however, something might have gone wrong and you should eat ASAP, if at all. Always do a smell test. If it smells different to how it *should* smell, I suggest dumping it. Advanced warning, though: the *taste* and *nutritional value* will depleat over-the-years."}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Is this halal as can't have halal","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"I can’t say for sure as halal is not important to me, however I have lived in countries where halal was a priority. For me it meant the method in which an animal was slaughtered in order to make food and covered animal products used in creating food stuffs. I don’t know what you mean when you say you can’t have halal. Why? Religious reasons? I thought the issue was that if you needed to ensure your food was halal then you had to understand if it contained animal products and, if so, how they were slaughtered and hung. This product contains chick peas and tahini (sesame seeds crushed in olive oil). It probably passes the test for halal but I don’t think that this means that people avoiding the halal slaughter of animals need fear it."}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Is this kosher?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"As far as I know.
