I purchased this as a back up if the ones I receive as part of my dexcom sensor kit run out too early. They are a very good alternative -IF- they are applied correctly. I wasted a couple because I should have read the instructions more carefully.

I rarely review anything, but after trying almost every G7 patch I could find, I saw a couple of positive reviews for this and I was going on holiday involving a lot of swimming, so I thought I'd give them a try. They are simply the first ones that actually do everything they're meant to do - they're superb. I'm buying some more now.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Simply awful, skin doesn’t breathe and have developed a rash on both sites where I have used these.

Easy to use

I have tried many different g7 overpatches to try and keep my g7 in my arm. These are the only ones that work 100%. The keep the sensor on your arm for the full 10 days easily. They are waterproof so perfect for showers arn baths etc. Excellent product 👏

I was attracted to the transparent look. But applying them requires peeling off inner and then outer layers, and I can't do it with 1 hand (once affixed to an arm, so need help from another. Also they don't stay in place for more than 2 days so regular replacement is needed. On the plus side they are very thin, malleable, and comfortable - until the glue gives up and they start peeling away. Other brands are more robust but not as discreet or comfortable. Assess your priorities ?

My only complaint was that they would pull up around the edges, and almost every time I wore one it would break me out in hives.

You are going to mess at least one of these up just trying to figure these out. I would suggest doing it somewhere other than your sensor the first time so you don't risk messing up your sensor trying to get the sticky mess off.However... got one on. The opening is a little tight, at least for the G6. The edges have started to peel after about 4 days. That might be my fault as they are a little bigger than I expected and maybe didn't alcohol prep far enough. Hope these work this summer!

Best patch I’ve found for my Dexcom sensor.

I like the waterproof feature but it doesn't last more than 2 days after placement and the hole is wider than I expected for my dexcom g6 so my sensor patch still gets soaked and comes off before it should so I have to still cover it with plastic wrap to protect the hole from water.
