I've always used voice recorders for my notes and writing, since they were HUGE in size; but found they got cheaper in quality over the last 20 years. So I became lazy and addicted to using the recording app on my phones for the last 15 years, but finally got tired of missing calls or not being able to take notes when I was on a call, unless I had two phones on me. So I spent quite a bit of time researching here for the best bang for the buck, and was pleasantly surprised to find reviews that said this unit was ALL METAL; and only $39.95. So I took a chance, and when it came, I was immediately and pleasantly surprised by the build quality, hefty, solid feel, and easy to adapt functions. I spent two hours playing with all the settings and features. The only thing that would have made this PERFECT is an SD card slot, but with 128Gb storage, one of the larger sizes and certainly twice or four times the storage at this price point over any other brands I found, I didn't mind. It comes with two USB C cables, including one that is a C double male , plus a 3.5mm double male for connection to a microphone or other device's output. It is stereo, and adjusts for either MP3 or WAV format, plus allows for super high quality kbps rates. The default is 512kbps, but I chose 1024kbps after playing. Uploading to your phone or computer is quick, but with 128Gb storage, you have plenty of time to do that before running out of space. This is comparable, seriously, to a $200 to $250 voice recorder; at $40, you can't beat it. It is so nice, that I wish it came with a little faux leather, or denim pouch to avoid scratching up over time. So I'll probably find something to fix that. While I haven't put any wear and tear on it yet, to judge longevity, from what I see I can't image that will be a problem; I'm sure the warranty is excellent too. GREAT VALUE... and I don't give such reviews easily.

This is a decent audio recorder. The feel of it and weight gives the definite impression of a quality product. The only downside that I've experienced is when it's in my pocket and I'm carrying it around, it gets turned on accidentally and starts recording and stops recording, I found more than 60 individual recordings when I took it out of my pocket once after a day at work. As a result I don't keep it in my pocket anymore, but when I do use it it works incredibly well with good quality recording. Sensitivity is adjustable, as are many other settings. I can honestly say I would recommend this.

I needed a little voice recorder for recording audio in my airplane so I just found a cheap one like this on Amazon to give it a shot. I was really surprised when this came in the mail because it was heavier in the hand and it turns out the encasing is metal which I was fully expecting it to be plastic but it has a really nice solid feel to it and I think I could throw it around a bit and it would hold up just fine not that I'm going to be doing that.The interface does take a little getting used to but it's simple enough that once you figure it out then you're good to go. The microphone seems to have pretty good recording quality, you can do a line in which is what I do and it seems to have plenty of capacity even though it doesn't have a microSD card slot which is not necessary for what I'm doing.

This recorder is the best one I've ever owned. Personally I don't think you'll find a better one!! The battery life is amazing, I can run it for 9 hours straight with it only using 1/4 of the battery. Got about 40 hours of music recorded on it so that gives me room for ALOT more. Follow the simple instructions and it is really easy to use. Sum it up with 3 words "I LOVE IT"

Dosen't have AM PM record time if you put record time from 10 to 10 it will shut right off or won't record at all because it doesn't know if it is from 10 pm to 10am or from 10 pm to 10 pm no option to change
