I've broken them in very well and they're as comfortable as rock climbing shoes could be, which is very limited. My street size is 9 and I sized down to 8.5 and fit well after the break in period. The soles are super sticky, turning even small indentions into foot holds. I did get my normal shoe size and they do fit tight, like really tight. They suck to do any kind of walking in but they're slowly breaking in and let's face it, they're climbing shoes not loafers. Personally I take them off as soon as I'm done climbing the route.
