These things are top notch! I upgraded my ipod classic and needed these to open it up. Its best to have at least 6 of these to open up an ipod classic without messing up the back case. I highly recommend watching some of the many tutorials online on how and where to use these before taking on the task. Once again, these are the best tools you can get to do the job right with no damage to the device. I strongly suggest taking your time when opening your device. Don't rush it or you will damage your case.

I didn't actually think these would be very useful, but I bought them because they were recommended by someone that had used them. It turns out, these work really well in situations where a screwdriver wouldn't be ideal for prying something apart. After you use them a few times, you start to get a feel for what uses are most appropriate and which aren't. Vary narrow gaps that a screwdriver would be too thick for, or places where screwdrivers would mark up that plastic are likely candidates. The metal is springy so you can pry with these surprisingly hard without permanently deforming them, but they do have their limits. I would suggest buying two so that you can abuse one and see how much force it can take and then you still have another in original condition. I've been using the same two for over two years now and both are still functional, but you can tell one of them has certainly seen some action.

I was skeptical about whether this would be able to open my iPod classic and after watching a few videos I decided to give it a try. I bought other tools in case this wouldn't work but it did, you only need one. Just have to use the right technique and it opens the iPod classic case with ease without damaging the clips or internal components. Turn the iPod upside down and insert iSeasamo into the crack and leverage downward to separate the cover from the bottom metal case. Simple. Great product for other Apple products as well I would imagine. Give it a try you probably won't regret it for whatever Apple product you have or any electronic really.

Works like advertised. It takes a little time to get it started. I had to change the battery. I suggest watching one of the many videos on YouTube. They cover the do’s and don’t. Since my iPod is old and no repair shops will do it I did it myself. Took about 15 minutes and my 16 year old iPod is good as new saving the 5000 songs on it. Good luck. If you’re not handy with tools have a friend who is to help.

Spudgers are very thin but strong easy to get into the case.

I'd never heard of a spudger until I saw an article on CNet. This is a nifty little tool. One lives on my desk and the other in the kitchen. Definitely get the two pack!
