Fast strings, balanced tone and good projection
I'll start with what I like about these strings. The strings wound in metal reach note stability really really quickly. The tension is just right for me. It has an easy action while not feeling sloppy under the fingers. Also the strings are very nice to play with nails, just gliding. The low E string comes with less wire around the lower part making stringing up easier (see in picture 2) The sound quality it very nice (although the G string isn't my favourite). The lower notes have a nice sizzle to the and nice 'n' sweet on the upper strings. Very balanced sound. Things I'm not so keen on!! Apart from the low E string, these strings are a pain to string up. Like slippery eels! The G string can sound a bit tubby sometimes (although that common with most strings). The upper 3 strings take a while to settle. So if you're playing a concert, string up with plenty of time to break them in. Over all they're great strings. Takes some time to set up but it's worth it in my opinion

EXCELLENT
These D'Addario EJ45TT strings are expensive yes but well worth it. After putting them on I heard the clarity straight away, they produce a strong rich bass end and the trebles (even the G) just sparkle. After the tuning settled down & as I played more & more they just got better & seem to continue to get better. I can't vouch for their longevity but quite frankly I don't care because I won't hesitate to buy them again whenever they need replacing. These strings just enhance the joy of playing .......I hope this helps...... July 2023 about to restring with the same, truth is the originals are still sounding pretty good, so the longevity speaks for it's self. I do not play classical mega amounts but still quite frequently. These are the best classical strings I have ever used .............

Good strings but take the time to fit carefully
Bought these (normal tension) for a Yamaha Silent Guitar and the impact on the sound was pretty transformational. That's the good news. The bad news is that they're very slippy and very tricky to fit - especially at the headstock end where the trebles continued to slip out of tune for at least a week after fitting. The novelty of re-tuning after every piece wears pretty thin, pretty quickly. However, they do eventually settle down. The E bass has a loose wound end - D'Addario say this can be fitted either end, but if you choose the bridge (as I did), make absolutely sure the loose wind is not part of the vibrating string. You must lock at the bridge with at least two twists on the wound strings and three on the trebles. It's also a good idea to lock the tags underneath the adjacent strings (Taylor style) as this looks great, eliminates buzzing and guarantees no bridge slippage (see picture). You'll just have to work out your own solution for the headstock, a powered string winder or an extra pair of hands definitely helps - as you need to retain tension as you lock and wind on the string.

Best value strings for my guitar
I bought a Paulino Bernabe M5 last year and have been delighted with it; when it came to changing strings, I tried several different makes and none came anywhere near the singing quality of Bernabe's own strings. These make the guitar sound wonderful, particularly the trebles, but they have two problems - they are very expensive, and the basses aren't very stable. I heard about the D'Addarios, and read that the basses are very stable when changing tuning e.g. "D" tuning the 6th, so I though I'd give them a try, just for the bass strings. They are great - the basses stay in tune extremely well and I thought I'd try the first to see how it compares with the Bernabe (the others I tried all sounded muted and muddy in comparison). To my surprise and delight, the 1st from this set is as pure and clear as the Bernabe 1st! At half the price of Bernabe strings, I think I'll be buying these from now on!

Excellent sound
Love the bright sound of these strings on my Alhambra guitar. Definitely a sharper sound than the basic D’Addario strings and worth the extra money. Usually they are fine to fit but this time they seemed a bit more slippy and I had to make absolutely sure the trebles were securely fitted or they tended to unwind the first time as I tightened the strings. Once secure they have been fine and I think they stay in tune quicker than with usual strings.

Excellent product.
Thanks to these strings, my guitar now sounds like a really expensive, excellent concert instrument. The strings provide greater clarity, tone and volume than other traditional strings. The greatest satisfaction for me is the extra brightness.

Great quality.
If only my playing was as good as these strings.

Very good strings for use on Lowden Jazz
I was pleasantly surprised by the response and brightness of the treble strings. Some nylon strings can sound very 'dead' to guitarists who also play steel string acoustics. Not so with these strings. The basses are quite good. Perhaps not quite the 'open' tone that you may get with say, some of the Savarez basses but nonetheless good. I am happy to recommend these strings. The Lowden Jazz guitar wears them very well.

My favorite nylon strings
Clear loud, bright, durable. Fantastic tone and projection. D'Addario is always top notch. Highly recommend!

Full, warm sound.
These strings sound beautiful. Just what you need to make a budget guitar sound expensive. I've had the non-titanium ones before, and they're pretty good, but there's just something about these ones that has a deeper, warmer sound. They are well worth the extra cost. If you're on the fence, just get them!
