BobelockHill Style Lite 6002 4/4 Violin Case with Blue Velvet Interior

This case is defintely stunning. The blue is rich and beautiful, the interior is soft and plush. Plenty of extra space for non-collapsible shoulder rests. The compartment is huge! Plenty of space for tuners, metronome, rosin, extra strings, cloth. It has space for 4 bows which doesn't show in photo. Also has the humidity control feature! The outside pocket expands a bit and has plenty of room for music. Inside the pocket, there is an additional storage pocket with pencil holders and a zippered spot that could be for extra strings. The shoulder strap is good quality and substantial. Also has hook in back to hook strap onto to wear more over your back. Many of these things were not listed in the description so they were very pleasant surprises. I went shopping in person for cases and there were many that were twice as expensive but barely had any extra storage.

My Bobelock case arrived and I couldn't be more pleased. It is lightweight, yet sturdy to protect my instrument. The built-in hydrometer is a welcome bonus protection feature. An interior storage compartment is a perfect size for resin and extra strings. An outside storage is perfect for carrying music. The carrying handle is comfortable, and the back-pack style strap (included) adds to the convenience of this Great case. The Bobelock company makes an excellent product and I am very pleased with my selection.

If your child is planning to walk to school/music lessons with this case it is probably too heavy. But it is a well made case so maybe that is the trade off.

The Bobelock Hill Style Lite Violin Case exceeded my expectations. It does cost a bit more than some cases available today, but superior quality is always worth the price. There are just no compromises with this case. It is surprisingly light weight, extremely sturdy and has ample room for everything - accessories, music, up to four bows. The build quality is excellent, from the velvet padding that securely cradles your valued instrument to the heavy-duty case hardware. This is truly a professional quality case in a classic Hill design that will protect a cherished violin for many, many years.

My son love the violin case,me also.But the Hygrometer is leaking. Hopfully they can exchange the new Hygrometer for my son.Thank you.

The case is robust, with good finishes.It's a little heavy but not too much. I am very happy with the purchase.

I've had this case for many years, and it has been reliable. My one complaint, though, is that the edges are shredding, and leaving black fibers all over. I don't know what the material is, and why it's doing that, but my other Bobelock, the Corregidor (a little pricier) does not have the same problem.
