Plus Complete Nutritional Drink, Rich Chocolate, 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 24)

I have been drinking Ensure Plus for almost 6 months now in order to try to gain weight after some major surgery I had a year ago. I really enjoyed the taste and the convenience of having one mega nutritional drink that helped me put on the weight that I needed. But the cost starting to get a little prohibitive. I started to look for alternatives and found Boost. Essentially it's almost the same product. It's got all the same nutritional requirements that I need and it tastes just as good if not better. And the best part is it's almost half the price! I just switched from Ensure to Boost Plus and I'm not going back. I recommend you do the same.

While these are packed full of nutrients in a easy to drink and portable bottle, they’re also quite tasty. I’ve been buying these for my husband for a couple of years now. Aside from the obvious benefits, he is someone that benefits from the extra calories made easy. I am constantly trying to keep his weight at what’s appropriate for his size. I suppose he’s one of the lucky ones with that aspect. However with health issues and age creeping up I have found these to be helpful because of the calories and for me, it’s almost giving him a glass of vitamins in drink form! He drinks two of these a day and doesn’t complain about the taste. You can easily turn this into a thick chocolate milkshake by adding a few ice cubes and a little heavy whipping cream. I absolutely recommend this product for so many reasons. But if you have similar struggles in your home as I - give it a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I hope my review has been helpful. My 87 year old dad with COPD and Heart Failure had two back to back hospitalizations just before Christmas. He came home on Christmas day. Our family was happy that his medical conditions had stabilized but unfortunately his appetite was poor. My already slender father lost weight just before and during his hospital stays. When he finally came home he was 25 lbs underweight and could not eat enough solid food to put the weight back on. My sisters and I did a little research and with doctor's approval we started to supplement each meal with a Boost Plus drink and gave him Boost Puddings for snacks. Dad loves chocolate so it was an easy intervention for him. Today I am happy to say he has put on 20 lbs in less than 3 months. We know he is getting plenty of protein and calories. Happily we have been able to have the drinks and puddings delivered to our door -- as we purchase through Amazon. This is a great convenience for me as I am now a full time caregivers for both my elderly parents.
