28-20181 DryFlow Air Filter

Does need a bit of inspect to clean up rubber bits, no big deal really. Construction is solid, rubber is durable and pliable. Fit is excellent on m113 v8 (C55 AMG). Noticed better throttle response smoother running, especially in 4th and 5th gear. Transmission shifts down easier than before. Overall GREAT buy imo, no oiling, clean and easy, better response and maybe a hp or two. Thank you!

I needed air filters for my '03 E55K AMG since the K&N filters that came with the car were falling apart (filtering media literally breaking into pieces). I also didn't want to buy another set of oiled filters because they take too many extra steps to clean, and they actually filter the air the least when they're clean; K&N says that the filter efficiency of their filters increase as the filter gets dirty, not good. These AEM filters fit perfectly inside the airbox, and you can use a mild cleaner like Simple Green to clean the filter and rinse with water. The filters are also made from a synthetic material which doesn't absorb water, so drying is pretty quick. The filters are actually thicker compared to the K&N filters, so it has more filtering area. AEM says you may clean them every 50k miles. The only thing I didn't like about them is that it had excess rubber/silicone on the filter, ​and some pieces were actually loose. Make sure to remove all loose pieces of rubber before installing. Great filters,

These are just like K&N except you don't have use special cleaners or keep them oiled. Unfortunately, like other reviewers, mine had little pieces of plastic from the molding process on the engine side of the filter. NOT Good! They were easy to remove, however added to the install time, especially since my Benz uses 2, so double the hassle and added time. Hence the 3 stars for install, 4 for the mileage increase, and 4 for value (since they only honored 1 rebate, even though I bought 2 filters and showed proof of both purchases). Solid all around 4. If the cleanup and quality control were higher the install and overall rating would be also. Still have recommended them to multiple people.

I got these for my wife's ML350. They fit great, sound great, and you don't need to oil them. Any performance gains? I don't know, maybe. I like that you can wash it and keep it for a long time.

Great filters I like the fact that this is a dry filter. Easy install and no oily mess. Don't get me wrong I still like the K and N but the price is too high. My GL takes 2 filters so can't beat the price! Fit my just right. Great sound and top end not sure of the MPG gain I have about 50mi on them.

Product fit as it should, can't really tell if it's helped my mileage, is a lot better than the stock air cleaners that I took out. Needed two to do install R-500 Mercedes.

Ordered these for my Mercedes GL450. Worked great and had a slight bump in power (noticeable, but now significant). Great replacement that should last a long time!

Very easy to install and I don't have to oil it like my KN filter once it needs cleaning it improved my mileage by 2 mpg on the highway and 1 mpg in the City on my S550 up 24.4 on the highway and 20 in the City and that's with 194,000 on the dash and it's my daily driver.
