Dark Italian Espresso Whole Bean

I grew up with this coffee all through my childhood and into my adulthood on the east coast!!! It was the child who accompanied my mom to the store each week to help her shop more easily and it was my job to grind the coffee in the store at the checkout stand. coffee was very important in our house and still is today for most of my family grin!!! it gave me great pride to be in charge of making sure that it was ground properly in the right setting .the smell of it grinding hooked me to this day on coffee as the aroma of this brand was and still is enticing to the max. thought that when l moved to the west coast it was gone forever because you could only get it at the A&P stores on the east coast grin. was overjoyed when looking through coffees on amazon to find this iconic brand of coffee still being produced . Yeah, amazon it to me is worth the prime membership fee everyone! that is how important coffee is for my well being because as a nurse l all but pumped it into me by IV grin!! it is a rich and dark blend awesome sublime tasting smooth coffee and they have another kind which is a Turkish blend also dark and heavenly tasting. lt is not every day you can find a product that lives up to a past memory in your mind and tastebuds grin yet this checks all the boxes for me !! never having had a real cup of Turkish coffee l can't vouch for the authenticity of this coffee per se... just thrilled of this find and of course put it on subscription lickety-split so l will never run out of this ever barring Amazon's inability to procure it from the said company!! this is going into my earthquake prep box as it is an essential product for me especially during stressful times that we may have during a natural disaster one must keep calm and carry on and not lose one's head either! this could be a life and death matter in many ways. so enjoy and find out for yourself grin. sure to be a great taste test in my humble opinion. grin.

We find this coffee is delicious and a great value. If you are looking for coffee that tastes like coffee and not candy or dirt, this is the one for you. We have tried other brands that claim to be better, and even if they taste pretty good for a change, but we always go back to this! We have been using this for years and have not found anything we like better and the price is great!

Really love this coffee and its been around a long time but prices have skyrocketed. Used to purchase this all the time on Amazon but not lately because of the high prices so have resorted to another more reasonably priced coffee from another local store. Not Amazons fault though.

Full bodied and delicious as usual.

Good tasting coffee. It is a big bag. The price is great for how much you get. Its has a strong flavor but not bitter. Its a dark roast. The grind was a little to course for an espresso roast but it brewed fine with a nice crema. I did grind it finer but that just took a few seconds to get it to our preferred grind.

Very flavorful

I've been a big fan of Eight O Clock coffees for years. It's not a fancy brand, but it is reliable, consistent and always delicious. It compares well against far more expensive brands. I go through the espresso particularly fast because I use for a darker, richer coffee brew as well as espressos. I prefer it to French roasts which I find leave a burnt aftertaste. The pots of coffee I brew with this are always deep, rich and delicious.

I have been brewing espresso for the last few years. Thought I take a chance on this bean. Turns out bad! Beans is definitely not espresso quality! Tasted cheap and bland. Taught me a good lesson and serves to reminds me in the future. Cheap beans terrible espresso!

Very flat flavour. A whole lot of broken bits at the bottom. So far the lowest quality beans I’ve ever bought.
