A soldering iron w/different tips is NOT a wood burner. After realizing this I went looking for a real one & this is what I found. It comes with everything you need if this is your first go at pyrography. It gets up to temprature in less than 30 seconds & is hot enough to burn through palm tree. I've ran this thing hard since I've received it & it's been just over a month with no issues. It's comfortable in the hand & doesn't get too hot either.

My fiancé and I worked on a project where we needed a wood burner gun and we bought this because the price was right. I’m glad that it got the job done, even though if we got a more quality machine, it would’ve been easier to do the work that we needed to do but for beginners this is a great product that will help you get your project done. It gets hot really fast the different blades work. You just need to make sure you practice to figure out which one is the one that you need to get the exact look you’re looking for when you’re burning into the wood.

This wood burner is wonderful! I used a cheaper wood burner before it broke and I decided to get this one. I love this one! It heats up really fast. Temperature is easily controlled and the dial is completely out of the way unlike my other model. The variety of tips is wonderful and they are easy to change. The cord is a good length, not too short or too long.

I actually purchased this as a gift. Product arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. The wood burning kit was exactly as described and is working very well on wood. Isn't usable after 1 use. One of the screws doesn't tighten making so I cannot change out the tips. I used it one time without replacing the tip. I haven't been able to get the other screw to stay in since then and haven't gotten to use it. I want a replacement. Could be a good set if it weren't for this. I'd be okay with this if I had gotten to use it for a while but 1 time and it's broke?? Garbage

My 11 yr old received this for Christmas and loves it. I like that the kit is not fancy but comes with what’s needed to get started. It was easy enough for her to start using it right away. Now she is doing her own little projects!
