Item didn't last a month. No crazy use and when removed to use in another place the inside part came right out.

Switches L and R
Bought this a few days ago, started using it (I absolutely love the design and goal of this product) found out yesterday that it's swapping L and R audio tracks. 😣 3 stars because this is quality material at a great price, it would be a 5 star review if the audio tracks weren't swapped.

Lost volume strength in one ear after just a couple weeks of use
I use volume control cables daily and this is by far the worst I've used in the last few years. Most tend to last at least 6 months before you start to have volume inconsistency issues, but this one lost volume stability between the left and right ear within just a couple weeks!

Using Sony XM3 & DAC
I recently tried to start finding my way into lossless audio. I know there is far more than I will ever research out there, but I was hopeful to find a DAC that would work for my PC listening (I use stereo studio monitors) and could also be a headphone amplifier if possible. I was able to find that and thankfully notice some improvement for sure when listening to what lossless audio I have. I also have the Sony XM3 wireless headphones. By no means any sort of audiophile or gaming headset, but I used this product with an extension cord on it to use the amplifier built into the DAC and they sound great. I frequently use them while working and having that mute button for when the phone rings or something else occurs is a big help. Ultimately it's just nice to have the extension and the mute. This works extremely well.

This gives me just enough for TV to earphones without having to pull hard on it.
This closed that distance perfectly and good for many other uses too.

Do not buy
Sound quality is horrendous. Can hear the static and it makes the sound come out of only 1 headphone and somehow stops my mic from working. Unfortunately I can’t even return this product cause I missed the return deadline. Awful product.
