Like fabric, glass, stucco or metal?** A: It's a moldable polymer....NOT an adhesive ! Sounds like you may want to research this product further. **Q: How does this compare to instamorph / polymorph balls, in performance & price per gram?** A: I haven't noticed any difference. the pellets seem to be more expensive but I haven't done a weight comparison either. **Q: I have some Apple power supplies that have fraying cables. Can any one recommend this product vs Sugru?** A: I’d recommend heat shrink tubing over something like these. These will leave that cord hard in that patch spot while the tubing will give you more flexibility **Q: What exactly is this thing, used for, & how do so many Ppl know it & I'm only just hearing about it for unknown reasons?** A: The thing is moldable plastic. I heat water in a microwaveable bowl then drop on card in. In about a minute it is soft enough to be molded. I take some tongs and remove the soft card from the hot water and mold it into any shape I need. Once it cools the moldable plastic remains in the shape that you created. I used it to repair a plastic piece that was broken on my freezer drawer. It worked absolutely perfect and now the light switch works and the door ajar alarm is off.
