I had to get my first replacement for my Braun 9 series shaver and went on Amazon to find a replacement. It was remarkably difficult with all the model numbers (I thought a 9 series was just a 9 series…I could barely figure out the model number on mine), but this seemed like the best. I found out once it arrived it was NOT a Braun brand shaver. I accept that mistake. But after only one shave, it kept pulling my beard and scratching it causing my rosacea to flare up after being in remission for almost a year.Didn’t even bother finish shaving all the way. I threw that away so fast, grabbed a 5 dollar disposable one I had laying around and had a much better shave. Mind you, I barely much of a “beard”. More like a size 1 length if you think about it in terms of clippers (so like 3mm?). If this machine caused so much pain with that, I can’t imagine anything longer than that.Went to Braun’s website to get the official one. It was sold out. So I checked out Wal-Mart. They also sell 3rd party replacements, not Braun official ones. I’m surprised it’s THIS hard to find a legit Braun replacement shaver. So many knock offs.Finally found them officially from Best Buy. Took almost a week to arrive. But once I put that sucker on, oh my god, it glides like butter. I could barely tell it was touching my skin and shaved so cleanly. It reminded me why I even bothered buying a Braun shaver in the first place.If you have sensitive skin or simply want your Braun shaver to work like it’s supposed to, avoid this at all costs. If you got tough skin and don’t mind it plucking your beard hairs off, grab this. You’ll save some money.

Looks, fit and feel are exactly like the original blades. The shave itself is just as good as the original as far as I can tell. The plastic blade cover (original cover, 2nd picture) doesn't fit as well and will fall off with the slightest touch but blade covers don't come with the new blades so I kept the original. This is not a huge problem though and has nothing to do with the blade unit itself which fits snuggly on the razor handle. Also, after using them for several months, I've decided that they don't have the longevity of the original blades. My first one came apart after about 3 months. I'm on the second one and it's lasted about 6 months...so far. I believe I got at least a year or so with the original blades.

This product is a fantastic find! It's reasonably priced, making it accessible for most budgets without compromising on quality. The product is exactly as described, and its usefulness cannot be overstated. I've found it to be incredibly practical and efficient in meeting my needs. The attention to detail is impressive, and the performance is on par with more expensive alternatives. If you're looking for something reliable, well-made, and at a fair price point, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

I recommend buying the OEM version replacement head. These fit my Braun Series 6 but don't give as good of a shave and don't last long.

If you are a true fan of pain, I mean really into hardcare Sadomasochism; this is the replacement razor head for you.Do you like the smoothness of the original Braun Razor head? This one does NOT have that !!!Do you like your whiskers pulled out by their roots (while you expound profanities as you are enduring the pain) ? This one has that, not all the time, but enough that 20-30 times during your morning shave, you will pull the razor from your face and exhort various demon names ! It keeps you surprised and allows you to snap to attention quickly.Do you like go over, and over, and over, and over, and over, the same spot trying to get the razor to do what it is supposed to (which is shave your face). If you like that, or you are retired (saying you have plenty of time), THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU !!!! My shaving time has been extended more than twice as long because of the amount of time I have to spend shaving in the morning. It allows me more time to spend some quality time examining my face and wondering why I spent the money on this razor head replacement.Trust me when I say, SPEND the extra money, and go with the OEM Braun Razor head !!! Your face will thank you.

Wish I had tried these replacement heads before I disposed of the old one , the old one worked better than new one.
