Easy Setup, Works Great, and Works Great with Alexa!
After reading some of the reviews here, I can only assume that the "frustration factor" has more to do with people not understanding WiFi bands between 2.4GHz and 5GHz. These operate on 2.4GHz ONLY, so if your home WiFi network has 2.4/5GHz bands using the same SSID (network name), I recommend you change that... actually, you should regardless, because TONS of devices will default to lower performance band and speeds instead of choosing higher when available.Anyway, WiFi network trivialities aside, assume you have MyWiFiNetwork and MyWiFiNetwork2.4 networks setup. Connect your phone to the MyWiFiNetwork2.4 network and install the app. Plug in the smartswitch to an outlet, and when the lights slowly pulse blue, press and hold either button until it flashes rapidly (about 5 seconds). Once flashing, open the app, click the + icon, and choose Outlet, and choose confirm... it will ask you to confirm the password for MyWiFiNetwork2.4 and about 15-30 seconds later, voila-- good to go! The whole process took me about 2 minutes to figure out with their little instruction guide.Once setup, I renamed the device and outlets how I liked them and then tapped the Alexa icon to begin that connection. I installed the Skill in Alexa, followed the prompts for signin, and that was it... they devices appeared immediately for control. Took me about another 2 minutes in order to read what I was doing along the way.If anything I wish Dilisens made more devices that shared the 2-outlet design. They got it right in terms of style... not as keen on the single-outlet device they have. Anyway, I also like the fact both outlets on the device are spread apart to be able to accommodate larger plugs, and I also like that I can fit one per physical wall outlet and not get blocked too... big pet peeve of mine for other options like the Aeotec Smart Dimmer 6 that I was previously buying. These are a lot easier to setup, and they're a whole lot cheaper too. I'll definitely be buying more. One last comment... I do recommend doing scheduled and grouping in Alexa, Google, or IFTTT instead of the provided app. The app feels very ... basic ... in my opinion.

Excellent Product - Severely discount the negative reviews
I question the negative reviews of this product and contribute it to lack of knowledge and technical skills and a poor setup. I have 10 of these units running on my IOT VLAN. That VLAN also has my Nest, multiple La Crosse weather stations and one 4 socket smart plug. I have no interference or regular loss of network from these units like one has stated which is probably their microwave which will kill WiFi. I have only had one unit that was an issue which was behind a TV in a corner with 2 UPS units, a subwoofer, satellite with UHF remote, Stereo receiver, and a couple of additional other devices. Enough electrical interference to throw off most devices. As for timer issues, I have 2 units that are on scheduled timers are work flawlessly. Finally the customer service. With the issue that I had with the unit I mentioned they responded within a day and worked with me through multiple scenarios and when we couldn't resolve it the classified it as defective and provided me another one in exchange. With that said these units have a great design where you have power switches for each plug unlike other multi-outlet products. Great quality and they support 15 amps. I am using two of these units on my multiple coffee makers as the other 4 outlet unit only pulls off of one outlet so if 2 machines are heating up at the same time the 4 outlet unit will shut itself down. This one allows me to use both outlets at 15 amps each.Only criticism I can say is for the IFTTT standard application. It shows the outlets in reverse and vertically rather than horizontal. No functional issues just appearance.Otherwise I recommend this product if you are looking for a good looking and functional smart plug with dual sockets and switches for each socket, not to mention you can stack two together on a standard outlet for 4 sockets total.
