I've become good at applying, having learnt all the areas on my skin that need a good exfoliation and a little lotion pre-application. I also know the bits that need a gentle wipe with water post application. (For me, lotion goes on the front part of my armpit, my wrists, ankles, feet, knees and elbows, and I give my knuckles and toes a quick wipe after). The shade really suits me and looks natural - I always get compliments. It lasts as long as I want - only 3/4 days but any other brands that last longer still look shabby at that point. However this product was easy to apply and didn't smell or look orange.
