The Essential Basics 4th Edition - Spiral Bound

Book came in perfect condition... and has all the information I was hoping for included.

It's the same info as the large book in a much easier to handle size, however, some of the writing is difficult to read........I had to get out a magnifier to decipher the hand writing info on the middle of the page. Yes, I wear glasses but I'm 67 and my eyes aren't what they use to be. Younger folks might not have this problem.

I have the larger textbook version that I keep at home. I like this small portable version. It's not as detailed as the actual book, however it's more of a quick on the go reference guide. It still has a lot of information and is also helpful when needing to review oil uses or conditions/ ailments. I usually keep it in my vehicle since I don't carry a big purse. I have found the information to be helpful. If I need details or more of an explanation, I go to the big book.

Research on oils

The books has a lot of knowledge about oils, about what oils to combine for what ailment, how to use them. Fantastic. What it does have, and it mentions the chemistry is important, is how much of each oil to use in each blend. If you can tell me to use frankincense, wild orange, lemongrass, thyme, summer savory, clove and niaouli for aches than how much Morse space does it take to say how much? If the chemistry is important, if you mix too much hydrogen with nitrogen, in th right conditions it will create a dangerous gas. Ok, I get that’s probably not going to happen with essential oils, but nonetheless I would like to know how much, how many drops, to user of frankincense, wild orange, lemongrass, thyme, summer savory, clove and niaouli to create the most effective blend of these oils to get rid of my aches. If your just getting started, or even if you done this for a while, precise recipes would be most useful.

this is the most amazing tool to have if you are a oils user/sharer! it is perfect for your purse. I use the big one at home but it was just to big to carry around. this has the same information as the big book just in compact form! a MUST have!

A great reference book for essential oils. The oils and popular blends are categorized a handful of different ways, making it easy to find information any way you’re coming at it. That can get just a bit confusing, so I’d recommend sticky flags/ post-it’s as page markers.

This is a must have for quick reference to conditions and oils to use. I like this better than my big book. It does refer to doTerra blends. Even so, many non brand high wuality therapeutic oils can work.

Love this book as a resource, thought we were getting a deal because it was spine back instead of hard back, although it is half the size of the hardback. My fault for not reading the size dimensions, so that was a surprise when opening my package! However, since I have realized how convenient it is to be nice and compact to be able to travel with.

The information in this is just the same as the big hard copy one. I was able to save almost half by purchasing this one. Nice and precise, nothing fancy and straight to the point! Extra pro to this is that it's so nice and compact!

Great book but It would be nice to have recipes in this book.
