it will fit just fine. I then characterized it by taking actual current ...
I have just received my LED replacement bulbs. Being a Dilbert type of engineer I evaluated them.First I checked the size compared to a 921 type 12V incandescent lamp removed from my RV. The length is almost exactly the same and the diameter is a bit smaller, it will fit just fine. I then characterized it by taking actual current measurements and compared it to the 921 bulb. I used a lab grade power supply set to output 12.00V regardless of the current draw, 3 amp limited. First, I tested the 921 bulb. It was bright and consumed a healthy 1.27 amp @ 12V – that’s 15.24 watts (way more than I expected). The 921 bulb got very hot! My thumb has a welt to prove it! I then tested the LED bulb. At first it did not turn on. This bulb is polarized, has a “+” and “–“ wire, they are not marked, but neither is the light fixture in RVs. So I took it out and rolled it 180 degrees, put it back in, my eyes squinted a bit, it was as bright as the 921 bulb! I could not stare at it long. It really never even warmed up, the reason is it only consumes 0.065 amps @ 12V or 0.78 watts. The 921 bulb consumes 19.5 times more energy than the LED bulb. My RV battery is going love these LED bulbs!! Weight wise, the LED bulb is only slightly heavier than the 921. The LED bulb weighs 0.088 oz and the 921 bulb weighs 0.067 oz, a small .021 oz difference, that not even worth considering. The LED bulbs are not going to loosen up on the bumpy roads any more than the 921 bulbs do. There does not appear to be any components used in the construction other than LEDs so I’m not expecting any RF emissions problem jamming radio/TV reception. I replaced all he light in my RV and turned them on, turned on the radio – no, interference noted. How many hours are the LED bulbs good for? At this point I do not know for sure, I have one in operation on the work bench and it’s still as bright as ever after a week of 24/7 testing.

Use in strategic locations
Pros:- cheap, reasonable(ish) light output, Low wattage (electricity) usage, don't feel bad if one dies at the price point. Cool to touch (not generating crazy heat like halogens). All received worked!Cons:- Light output is less than the halogens replaced. Color, soft white to yellow (more yellow). Polar dependent installation (no markers, trial & error).Bottom line:Use strategically is desired low output areas (lounge spots, bedroom, nightlight areas). For the main areas, it was too yellow and low light output for my families taste.Installation:Try them when installing (before replacing covers), the direction they are inserted matters! If it didn't work, flip it the other direction in the socket.

Dim, save your old bulbs. We`re not into the boondock thing. Flat rate electrical hookup, use the old bulbs.
