A Good, Large mount
It sits high, reason why it was bought. It does not come with bolts to roof mount. The mast is secured in two spots along with the seat at the bottom. Very sturdy and well made.

Reasonable price, strong, stable tripod....
Well constructed and easy to set up and use. I rigged a chain and turnbuckle between a bolt at the top and one at the bottom to hold the tripod in the position I like but still easy to fold. I put Lock Tite on each bolt and tightened them so they won't shake loose. I attach my portable vertical antenna to the tripod by using stainless hose clamps.

Included mast could be longer
Used for attic mounted antennas, quality is good my only gripe with my particular use is another 2 inches on the mast would have helped a lot, as it is I can barely mount it to the rafters with my particular antenna. It did just barely work. The goal was to distribute the weight more evenly than a J-pole, it's a 100 year old attic after all.

Very sturdy for my purposes.
Overall this is a great tripod.I purchased mine for an antenna mast. The footprint is very stable and sturdy. Made of quality galvanized steel, it holds weight well.I tested it with my 24 foot antenna mast. It gave me an extra 3 feet which more than made up for the loss into the stabilizing mast. At just shy of 27 feet total height, in 25mph winds, not anchored and no guy lines, it didn't budge a bit.Seeing as I plan to use this for portable radio operations, with the addition of a set of guy lines, it is going to be a great piece of kit added to my travel kit.

Sturdier than expected, perfect for my GOES-16 Weather Satellite Grid Dish
I needed something sturdy to mount a dish to receive from the GOES-16 weather satellite. I'd been relying on a mast stuck into a umbrella stand, but that was unstable and could not be leveled accurately. I bought this on a gamble, hoping to mount it on the ground.I was pleasantly surprised to discover this was a well-constructed, very sturdy tripod, with the added benefit of the short mast, that was perfect for my use, which, since I am aiming at something in the sky 22,500 miles away, didn't have to be high. The mast stays very stable in the tripod, with 6 holding/leveling bolts with nuts, with the lower set surrounding a flat base on which the mast rests. Once mounted, the satellite dish was quickly aligned, and it is much better than what I used before by far. In addition, I drove anchors into the ground through the leg holes, and it appears to be fairly stable thus far. Time will tell, but if it shifts, it just means I need to anchor better in this Virginia Clay.I am also an Amateur Radio operator, and this tripod compares favorably with several Rohn tripods I have, so a good value for the money.

Works Great for Starlink
This is so much better to connect my Starlink than the stand that comes with it. I did get the adapter for the top and it works perfectly. You could put stakes in the bottom holes. I have not been in any good winds to say really how the stability is. I am very happy with it.
