Barfly Ice Tong, Stainless, 7.1 Inch

I previously bought a cheaper brand of tongs, but found that they didn't have adequate 'teeth' to grip a 2-inch cube securely, and I was having getting the large cubes into double old fashioned glasses. The Barfly tongs are perfect. Honestly, I should have gotten these from the start :)

These ice bucket tongs are a good value but they feel a bit thin in my hands. When they arrived, the teeth did not line up on the two sides because it was bent a bit. I was able to very easily bend it back to line up the teeth. They work well to pick up the ice. I made a video to show you. Medal does feel flexible and only concern will be over holding up when open and closed over and over. But nice size and holds cubes well.

Purchased these for use with our LG craft ice fridge. For those looking to do the same, these store nicely situated hanging over the front of the bin. Easy to reach for a quick grab and firmly grips the ice balls.

I bought an expensive ice mold, but the regular tongs I had in the kitchen just would not work to get the ice out of the mold when I was finished. So I bought these, because it looked like the teeth might grip into the ice ball. Sure enough, it does just that, and it's the perfect size. It's also easy to adjust the width of opening. Great purchase.
