I tested both HDD and SSD with USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, and the speed differences are significant — showing that this case is doing its job well: HDD on USB 2.0: ~34 MB/s HDD on USB 3.0: ~120 MB/s SSD on USB 2.0: ~40 MB/s SSD on USB 3.0: ~350 MB/s These speeds were achieved only when using the original cable provided with the case, which proves the quality of the bundled accessories. Copy-paste operations were smooth, stable, and impressively fast. Whether you're backing up old data or reusing a laptop drive, this enclosure is an excellent investment. Highly recommended!

I bought this Dyazo 2.5 inch HDD/SSD enclosure to use my old laptop hard drive as an external storage device, and it’s been working really well. The build quality feels solid for the price, and the matte black finish looks clean and professional. Installation is super easy — no tools required. I just opened it, inserted my SSD, closed the cover, and connected it to my laptop. It was detected instantly without installing any drivers. The USB 3.0 speed is good; file transfers are fast and stable, especially with an SSD. It’s lightweight, portable, and doesn’t heat up much during normal use. The included cable is also decent quality. Overall, this is a very good product if you want to convert an internal HDD or SSD into a portable external drive at a low cost. Totally worth the money. It supports up to 6 TB of storage (you install your own drive up to 6 TB) — so whatever HDD/SSD you put inside becomes the capacity of your external drive.

Pros : Transfer Speed , Ease of Use Cons : Build Quality could be better , looks generic product no branding on product , PCB is held by 2 glue tabs atleast they could use 2 samll screws. Overall ok product in terms of quality but transfer speed is great uses 3.2 gen usb controller though speed depends on HDD or SSD you are using.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent purchase. Upon receiving the item, I was dismayed to discover that there were no electronic components inside the plastic casing—only a plastic shell and a USB cable were present. As a result, I was unable to use the HDD, rendering the product completely non-functional. When I initiated a return request, Amazon customer service instructed me to upload images and informed me that an investigation would be conducted before proceeding with a complaint. I was told this process would take 4–6 working days. Although I complied with all instructions, and by the time the return window had unfortunately closed. Consequently, I am left with a defective item and have lost my hard-earned money without any resolution. I urge others to exercise caution when purchasing electronic items online, as such experiences can be both financially and emotionally frustrating. I hope this matter will be taken seriously and that mechanisms will be strengthened to protect customers from such occurrences in the future.
