Works We'll - no problems
I'm a 'trackball' fan, had and used several as well as conventional optical mouse with desktop PC's and laptops. If your new to trackballs, be aware, they do take a little getting used to at first, they are a different feel. But stick with it - well worth it! Once you get familiar with them you'll not go back - far better cursor control. Not a brand I knew but no issues. . . typical functionality and works well, perhaps slightly more sensitive than some others.

Superb Trackball: Good Replacement for Intellimouse Explorer Trackball
I am a bit spoiled, trackball-wise. Years ago I bought one of the legendary Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer Trackballs in a shop and I fell in love with it and have used it ever since. It's worked perfectly for all that time. They're supposed to be impossible to replace. A week or so ago I dropped it and one of the buttons broke. Heartbroken. I've just taken this one ("HT Nulea M509 Trackball Mouse Wired") out of its packet, and to my amazement, despite the fact that it's the wrong way round ( the ball's on the thumb while the buttons are under the fingers), I just instantly love it. It took me about a minute to adjust to the new arrangement. I've got the two trackballs side by side and am alternating using them to compare them. The new one is really accurate and its ball is very smooth, it fits my large hand beautifully (I'm a man and I take XL or 9 1/2 gloves), and the buttons are in exactly the right places (better in both placement and function than the buttons on the Intellimouse!) It worked perfectly out of the box with my debian 12.0 laptop, and it's really accurate. Having a wire means no sodding around with bluetooth or batteries or anything like that. It plugs into a standard USB port, but the clever cable means that one day when I upgrade to a laptop with USB-C ports it will be able to come with me. I would say that the trackball's every bit as good as my beloved Intellimouse, and the buttons are better. I actually suspect that as I grow used to the new smaller ball I will grow to prefer it too. I could not be more surprised and pleased. Well done Nulea!

Surprisingly good for the price
My main concern was that the thumb motion would be too tiring, but after a few weeks of use, I can say it's nowhere as much of a concern as I thought it would be, and is likely far less strain that constantly using the fingers to move the ball. The ability to clean the ball is also useful. The buttons and wheel are good and responsive, and the surface of the device is pleasant in the hand. Overall, very satisfied for the price, I will have to wait and see how well the switches last.

Nice cheap wired ball mouse.
A good little wired ball mouse. Got this to use with a chromebook I use to run an online dart set up. Got fed up charging up the wireless mouse I was using. This mouse works fine for what I need and wasn't to expensive.

Great value
I was sceptical due to the low price, but for £30 this is great value. Trackball is smooth unlike a few other trackball mice I tested. Scroll wheel and clicks are solid. This product exceeded my expectations.

If you use a console this is the mouse for you
Found this so much easier to use than a standard mouse. I normally game on a console so using this mouse felt amazingly easy and my wrist and arm thank me. Easy to use and I don't have to move the mouse so I don't end up half way across the desk.

Nice simple wired ergonomic trackball
I would purchase again if needed, and recommend. I am new to trackballs. This is my second trackball. The first one I bought was a logitech M575. I got it to go with a laptop because sometimes you find yourself in situations where a mouse is harder to use / no good surface to move it on. It takes just a little bit to get used to moving your thumb instead of a mouse. I enjoyed the experience and wanted a wired trackball for my desktop. This device in comparable in size and layout to the logitech M575. Like a larger mouse, it more comfortably fills a medium to large adult hand. The ball is the same size and weight as the M575. The narrower right click button is actually nice for me, as I can move my middle finger off of it so I don't accidentally click it. Both mouse buttons feel (not measured) about twice as stiff as the logitech, so I don't have to focus on holding my fingers completely off of the mouse buttons to avoid accidental clicking. (This can become a thing as we age and the tendons get just a little tighter, remember to stretch your finger tendons from time to time.) The top of the body of the device has a soft rubber / silicone coating. There are rubber feet to keep it from sliding around on the desk. The cord is plenty long enough for most situations, and has a soft rubber / silicone insulation. It is not quite as flexible as really soft silicone stranded wire, but it is much nicer than the bog standard vinyl / plastic wire and a very nice surprise. The usb c to a adapter seems good quality, but it has just a tiny bit more give than I would like to see. I don't think it will be a problem, but I would recommend a little care not jerking the cable around and when plugging / unplugging. i run linux, and everything is working great. lsusb shows the device as Holtek Semiconductor, Inc.

Not worth the money!!
The micro switch for the pointing finger is way to course you really have to PRESS to make contact. Which means you often have to press multiple times to get it to react! Not so great! After approx. 3 month use you need to pull the USB plug out and in the PC to get it working. Turns out to be a real real bad product !

Mouse trackball M509 cablato ergonomico
