Q: The description says "for Olympic and Standard Plates". Are there 2 different models? How can it use both Olympic and standard plates?

There is only one model. The bar comes with attachable sleeves that fit over the standard bar to fit the Olympic plates. I had a the same thought but when looking at the product pictures I noticed there were changes in the plate sleeve. So I assumed there was a interchangeable sleeve to fit both standard and Olympic plates. Hope this helps.
