Really like this meter. It was easy to fit for a 'normal' person, if only a bit fiddly for us getting the sensor round our live wire in the fusebox because our box is a bit crowded. In retrospect would have been easier to us to put it on the wire in the electricity box outside. The meter works a treat.Not surprisingly I find it doesn't identify which direction the flow of electricity is; this is not a problem at all if you DON'T have solar panels as your electricity feed would all be one was (i.e. in!).We have recently had solar panels installed and now that I understand it measures absolute flow then that's fine too... During the day when it is sunny it shows us how much electricity we have spare that we are sending back to the grid, and at night it shows what we are drawing from the grid. If it's not so sunny and we are not sure whether the meter is showing our excess generation or what we are taking from the grid, then we just switch the kitchen spot lights on and see if the meter number goes up and down. Easy!

Nicely made and easy to use. I had mine up and running in about 10 minutes. Having a standard low tech electric meter in a cupboard in the hall means it is tricky to monitor what is using power at any given time. This energy monitor makes it very easy to see what is using power in near real time. Also it makes it easy to see if something has be left switched on that doesn't need to be. The garage lights now have a timed on switch as they were being left on lots of times! Only minor issue is that the installation directions for the sensor next to the meter were not as clear as they could have been.This is a good alternative if you can't have a Smart meter and monitor fitted. It has saved me running unnecessary lights and equipment, and correlates pretty well to the daily electric meter usage too.

Great device - helps to control your electricity usage. Addictive :-) - you keep looking all the time . Makes you switch off all those unnecessary extras / I've changed all my light bulbs to LED once - big saving even as they aren't cheap / and you are in control of your electricity bill - hopefully it will be lower from now on. As the sensor needs to be 'planted' on the main electric cable supplying electricity from the meter to the property make sure you have an electrician available to do it properly and safely. Monitor can be put anywhere handy and visible for an easy reading. Get this and learn how much electricity you can save.

I cannot believe people haven't picked up on the glaringly obvious fault with this device.Despite CT clamps typically having to be attached in a specific direction to the house tails (usually denoted by arrows marked 'to meters and 'to consumer unit' this CT clamp give the same reading no matter what direction it is attached.This device is therefore blind to the 'direction' of electricity flowing in/out of the house.The power now figure in kW is always displayed as a positive number, and there is no indicator of export happening.So if this meter reads "6.50kW" I don't know if the house is being quite thirsty for power or whether the solar system is doing a good job.This is not made clear in the sales literature, and in my mind an utter fundamental flaw of the device.It will be going back for a refund as this cannot be deemed accurate in the slightest. With a DNO export cap of 11kW, this has the potential to be incorrect by over 48kW!!!Sort your products out!

It does what it says on the tin - it shows your energy usage. Sensor has a long range and is simple to install - DO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THOUGH! It can also be part of a modular system if you want to have remote access to your energy usage when out and about - possibly useful for landlords / serviced offices.Simple to use. Clear display. Worked out of the box. You will need batteries.

To be honest this is a very easy item to install, it literally takes seconds and the information that is given as far as spot usage is concerned is actually very usefull in that you really can see within seconds how your usage changes when you turn things on and off. My biggest issue is the historical data. You cannot break the data down further than a full 24 hour period (and they don't claim that you can, I made an assumption here) and if you set the system up on two tariffs (for economy 7) you cannot drill down into the usage for the different tariffs. So all I get is a total usage for the day. I can actually get this data simply by reading the meter and as I can see what I have used on each meter I actually get more data by simply reading the meters and writing the readings down. So for me the only advantage is being able to see the usage changes when I switch something on and off. So I'm afraid that for me it is expensive for what it actually gives me and sadly I will be sending mine back.

With this, you get a true indication of your energy use and costs updated every few seconds.A great purchase and a good gift idea for older people to get a real handle on where their money goes.Only very minor niggle is the "link" indicator to pair the unit with the transmitter isn't very obvious, but press the link button on the unit, same on the transmitter, and job done - just remember to set your tariff costs BEFORE you link or you'll only see "--" on the display!

Oggi per montorare le produzioni del fotovoltaico esistono APP... a cui però devi collegarti col telefonino... e poi non funziona, e poi si blocca, e poi è lento... se voglio guardare che ore sono, mi basta guardare l'orologio alla parete. Stessa cosa per la produzione fotovoltaica... voglio sapere subito, con uno sguardo, se è opportuno far andare un elettrodomestico oppure no, in quel momento.Peccato ne esistano sempre meno, comunque ottimo display, difficilmente tradisce. La durata delle pile è soddisfacente, si può anche tarare la frequenza di sincronizzazione di segnale WIFI con la pinza amperometrica, in modo da diminuire il consumo di pile nel tempo.Se proprio vogliamo trovagli un difetuccio è la messa in funzione del collegamento virtuale tra il display e la pinza amperometrica. Non molto intuitivo, ma basta seguire le istruzioni. Una volta collegato, difficilmente perderà il segnale , anche con la pinza posta a diversi metri dalla console.Vi prego, producetene altriiii !!!
