TRAP TRAPS MICE IN MOST BORING WAY
This trapped worked so well it was almost annoying. I've been trying to trap a mouse in my garage for the last few days using various "free" google methods, including spoons over buckets, etc. The mouse mocked me, ate my bait (in front of me) and was a jerk. I opened up this trap, applied peanut butter, set it out. ***In less than 40 MINUTES the mouse was captured.*** It was almost like the trap was showing off. No suspense building. No drama. No anticipation. NO FUN. YAWN. Just a captured mouse.Skeptics query: The captured mouse looked exactly like the captured mice in the other customer's photos. Is it possible these traps are shipped with invisible live mice inside, with some sort of time-sensitive cloaking magic that wears off minutes after you apply peanut butter?Moral query: Can you remove a star from a product because it works too quickly and does not build suspense or create potentially enjoyable drama?

Excellent !!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I don’t normally do reviews but I’m really impressed! I bought these because my dad was going to kill the mouse in our garage with barbaric traps. Set this up in the evening and mouse was caught by morning! I used peanut butter on a cracker as the bait. Very good product! Released the mouse in the woods behind my house where I know other mice live.

SEVEN mice in the first 24 hours with four traps!!!
This is the best mouse trap on the market! We thought we had a problem with one or two mice. I bought four traps. Got the first three in the first hour but didn’t want to put them outside yet where they would freeze to death ( why catch a mouse humanely to let it die a slow cruel death? ) so I released them into a new metal garbage can filled with bedding, hamster food and water, and set the traps back up. Did this over a 24 hour period until there were SEVEN mice altogether! Have the four traps set back up now for a day and a half since the seventh mouse was caught, but things have slowed down and we may have gotten all the mice. They’re actually pretty cute when they’re not eating your food and leaving droppings in your living area. Not for pets though! Just to momentarily watch. They’re wild creatures and they need to remain so, plus they smell musky! Like I said, I was afraid to release them outside right away in the freezing snowy winter because it has been super cold lately. I think it is beyond cruel to catch them humanely and then torture these MAMALS to death by sticking them in the freezer! They feel every bit of that cruel death and are probably terrified as well! That solution is for reptiles who wouldn’t notice it! Not mice! You’d be better off snap trapping them and getting it over with quickly! No way is the freezer solution a kind, comfortable death! So, I dropped them in the bucket as soon as they were caught...After a short while they all piled on top of each other, sleeping and snuggling together, happy to see their family members again lol. Plan to take them miles away as soon as the weather gets a little warmer, hopefully sometime this week. The sooner the better. Thought it was going to be best to release them all together so they could stay warm together and build a nest somewhere not in a house!Gave that information for anyone looking for a temporary solution when you’re catching so many mice and it’s below freezing outside. Don’t want the mice kept for long because they need to keep their resourceful skills at finding food! Most importantly, this is the BEST humane catch and RELEASE mouse trap on the market BY FAR! Others I’ve used don’t work.PS This might work for finding an escaped hamster. The opening is big enough and inviting.

You NEED this in your life! (only if you have mice)
I rarely write reviews, but this product is worth it! We caught two mice in under an hour! BEST MOUSE TRAP EVER! We had bought a mouse trap from Home Depot and it took 2 full weeks and we watched the mice take the food from the trap AND “lick” the peanut butter clean, I guess those nyc mice have street smarts? But not for this trap! I couldn’t be happier with finally catching these mice. A little difficult to lift the door to let them out but I guess there would be worse problems if the mouse got out before.

Great product!!! Made a new friend 😁
Awesome trap!!!!The kids were so excited!!! Put a little peanut butter inside, an hour later we were heading up to bed, they heard a snap and went running 😀 caught a cute little mouse, we walked it about a 1/4 mile away to be safe.

Works great!
Within the first 6 hours we caught a mouse and were able to let it go in a large field near by. Reset the trap and caught another overnight. Haven’t had any mice since. *knock on wood* These traps are great and my little guy loves that he can see the mice.

It works!
WOW! This product is amazing. It worked the first night I put it out. Much better than those Sonic gigs and the traditional traps. I am very pleased with this product.

only gave 4 because nobody reads the 5stars now that fakes are rampant
These are very nice, their only weakness is the same weakness every moustrap has, the mice learning how to counter the door mechanism. Which is very easilly countered by adding a small piece of glue paper so whatever gets in ain't coming out. I use this one ( https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07693MFHV ) its the best on amazon, I legit have to spray PAM over my fingers whenever I manipulate it or else I get glued. All in all its a compact model for catching a single mouse and its pretty solid. If you're looking to capture more than two however you're gonna need one fo the metal boxes.

Pack of 2, one worked great, the other didn't
I bought a pack of 2 but one of them did not work. The bait container was so tight it was not easy to remove, and the trigger did not activate even though the mouse has clearly visited inside of the trap at least twice. The working one worked great and caught a mouse the first night it was set. I reused it to catch a second mouse since the other trap did not work. Although after washing the trap after the first use, the trigger became a bit too loose, I was worried that it would not work, it still worked nonetheless and now my house is smoke-free.

Should work well.
This product seems to be well built and should work as expected. Go figure. I was having problems with mice getting into my BBQ but once I received this product I have not seen a mouse since. They must have some sort of radar or something. If I do see one I know I have something to take care of the situation.

Worked once, maybe twice - impossible to set-up
Was a bit tricky setting this up the first couple of times that it worked. After that, getting the mouse opening to stay open to allow a mouse entry, was IMPOSSIBLE! The hook is EXTREMELY sensitive, to the point that it basically impossible to set it up, rendering them useless. I ended up getting this after the other live traps I bought were defective. Now on my third type of trap - hopefully this one works.

It works
I received this on Oct 19 and caught the mouse last night, Oct 29. Perfect! You just need a little patience, as the instructions say. Took the mouse to a field near a stadium and let it go. I used peanut butter as idicated and it worked like a charm. I would recommend this product.
