🥧 Bake the irrationally delicious way!
The Pi Pie Pan is a uniquely designed baking pan shaped like the mathematical symbol Pi, perfect for celebrating Pi Day on March 14th. With the same volume as a standard 9" pie pan, it allows you to create delicious pies while showcasing your love for math.

Perfect Pan for Pi Day!!!
I got this to make a pie for a work Pi Day potluck, and it was a HIT!!!! The pan is sized to use standard deep 9 in crust recipe and filling, and bakes using the same oven temps and time. I’m looking forward to experimenting with banana breads, etc., with it. Coworkers were taking pictures and asking where I got it, so Amazon may be getting a bunch of orders! Best pan ever!!!! Thank you, Pi People LLC!!!

Good quality and a must have for math geeks!
We also own the silicon pie/cake pi pan, but it doesn't cook evenly with 2 different layers. Plus you can't make a pie in it as easily as in this one, and this pan is larger. We also like the metal vs. silicon since it's more durable. Wish it came in non-stick, but... it's the only one out there. Best gift ever for my autistic boy who has pi memorized to nearly 100 digits and loves to bake. ;)

Not as big as you would think, but it does work.
I do not believe it is the same volume as a 9" pan. I made the crist 33% thinner than I would normally do on a cheesecake and I ended up about 1 cup extra batter that would not fit. However, it did make a nice cheesecake. I think it would be better if it were another 1/2" deep.It looks really cheap. It appears to be some kind of galvanized coating and does not appear to have been uniformly applied. I am a little concerned that it may flake off. I'll know later today when I actually cut into my first attempt to use.

Perfect for the Scientific Mathematical Baker
My daughter is a baker and a science/math nerd. She adored this gift. It is a novelty gift, sure, but what fun for her "All things Pi Party." The pan is a novelty decorative pan. Were she a professional baker, it might not hold up after multiple uses, but for a once a year baking or so, it was a great value for the price. I highly recommend this item if your baker is also a math or science person.

Was so worried I was going to miss out on ...
Was so worried I was going to miss out on the festivities this 3/14/15 @ 9:26:53.59, as I had only 20 minutes to get my blueberry pie cooked (as I was working with the top). A slight change on the baking directions and cooked it at 475 for 10 minutes, and 400 for the remaining 10 had a perfectly cooked crust. The tablespoon versus teaspoon of salt my helper put in the crust though was what left much of the pie uneaten.

Brownie greatness
Great pan! Works well for brownies and every piece has an edge! I have made 3 batches in it and it cooks/cleans well.

Excellent
I liked the size, it is large enough, to highlight the figure.

Pi Day contest winner!
I won the Pi Day contest at work a few years ago with my Oreo Pi Pie! I've used this pan a couple times and it is fun for the math geeks. My only complaint is that it scratches when cutting it even with a butter knife. I can't take the pie out to serve on a plate, so I need to serve it in the pan and expect more scratches.
