I've found that owning an inground pool in Florida has left me with a ton of plastic fittings that are very difficult to get a wrench on, let alone get loose. I have standard pipe wrenches that seem too bulky to get in some of the tight areas and have found myself using an old oil filter wrench I had in my garage. When I saw these wrenches, I knew I had to pick them up since they can solve many of my issues.I had to "exercise" these a little when I got them since they seemed a little stiff, but they loosened up quick enough. There isn't much play in the hinge, which is a good thing. They are designed so you can slip the top jaw around pipe nuts in tight areas. The handle is long enough to allow good leverage when getting a bite on it. With the two sizes, I haven't found a fitting on my pool that they don't fit, so these have become my official pool wrenches.They come with a tang on the end to pry with, though I don't generally think of my wrench as a pry bar. They work well enough, but a little awkward as opposed to using the correct tool. Overall, however, I love these as wrenches for my pool and give them high marks for that alone.

Very convenient to carry rather that a heavy pipe wrench that fits on 2” pipe but the teeth don’t always grip that well. It sometimes slips but if you put a second hand over the jaws they work good. The “fix” would either be a stronger spring or more angle on the teeth, maybe both. Amazing for the price

I love these things. they are adjustable. you get two sizes and smaller one and a larger one in the set. there is a spring-loaded jaw that fits around the nut or pipe that you are wrenching on. As you pull the jaw clamps down on the nut or pipe. the harder you pull the stronger the clamping force on the pipe or nut. they are made of some cast steel and seem plenty strong. My only concern would be the pin that the jaw pivots about. you will be putting a ton of shear force on this pin. I hope it stands up the the abuse. pretty good deal at 2 for 24 bucks.

These arrived from the vendor packed in a branded cardboard box. The wrenches inside were wrapped in protective plastic. The box actually did not do such a good job of protecting these, it was punctured thru, but the wrenches remained covered & unharmed nevertheless.I wish I had these a long time ago.These are good for reaching into hard to get to places like under sink counters to remove water line nuts.The ends of these wrenches don’t require you to “dial” to tighten, you just press a lever on the back side & the wrench opens itself, snugs against your target, & locks.Brilliant design that will save much time & frustration versus taking out a wrench, dialing it, putting it back, it doesn’t fit — do that 6 or 7 times. With these devices you press the release lever, it fits itself, you get the job done.Built to last, & with a small & large size — these will be helpful for many years & prevent frustration doing what are now fairly simply tasks.
