Perfect EDC-Pouch
I wanted to wait a while before writing a review to have a good understanding and context before writing it. The pounch is great. It's not too small, and not to big. Constructed very well and features plenty of pockets and loops to organize all of your tools. I keep mine as my EDC pouch for work and holds everything from pliers to band-aids. The zipper is great and hsa not ripped or gotten caught on material. 10/10 would recommend.

Awesome Organizer
Lots of reviews on youtube made me decide to go with this over the EDC and the Micro and Mini. I still may purchase one of those smaller ones but for the time being this is great to fill with necessities and throw it in my car. I don't have it loaded to the brim like many people do but currently it holds all of the tools I feel comfortable carrying in my car along with some very basic first aid items. That being said, what I do carry inside leaves it slim enough to fit in my glove box. If i decide to carry larger things i may need to throw this in my back cargo area or under the seat. Product is very nice quality. I'd imagine this will def carry me thru the life of this new vehicle and into my next vehicle as well. Very good stitching and the zippers seem rugged and reliable. My only complaint was the keychain lanyard that comes pre-installed on the inside flap but one swipe of my Kershaw and it disappeared. Others may like this and put it to good use but for me it seemed to be in the way so i 86'd it. Molle system on the back is nice as is the carrying loop. Also a big plus is the velcro on the front to attach you favorite patch and the webbin on the front is high quality and will do a great job holding anything you'd like to carry inside. Def a great investment for your car or any of your tools you carry on a daily basis or even as a nice supplement to your BOB.

Put this quality bag... inside your bag!
This is Maxpedition's Fatty Pocket Organizer. I bought it because I found myself losing various things in my bag and needed a little more organization. Well this is a lot of organization, and room! The size of the pocket is great. It's about three 200 pg. paperback books stacked on each other (Empty, make it four when full.) It's a great size. I have about 8 pens/pencils/markers in there, a small flashlight, some sunscreen, a small knife, several bookmarks (http://www.amazon.com/Fred-and-Friends-Sprout-Bookmarks/dp/B0074PRCZ0/), a charging cable, a multitool and attachments, and could fit probably double that if I filled it to the brim. The quality of the pocket is fantastic. I can imagine having this thing for several years. Probably just as long as I have my Timbuk2 bag (and if you know anything about those, they last!). It is all made of quality nylon, mesh, a sturdyacczipper, and several stretchy straps. You can't look at any part of this pocket and not find some well-thought out feature. From the grab strap, to the front organizational straps, to inside with several pockets and attachment points and a place for keys to hang. The pictures Maxpedition provide are very accurate for this pocket. You will find yourself very organized after purchasing this bag. I use it by leaving it in my larger bag, and pulling it out while I study, work on somethting, etc. I always have my bag with me, and inside it another small pocket for my tools. So useful!

Well made, fits in my cargo pocket
I keep it in my cargo pocket, just some simple EDC tools, a multitool, a knife, a flashlight, a screwdriver with hex bits and regular/specialty bits, a specialty driver for tight spaces, wire cutters, fishing line and hooks, waterproof matches, a lighter, a zippo and a flint striker, just things that I commonly need, i'm going to get more for specialized packs, each one dedicated for a certain purpose, lockpicking/entry, medical/trauma, gun cleaning kit, fire kit, general medications kit for illness, hygiene kit. Just to be able to throw these things in my bag when I travel and have everything organized for fishing, making a fire, sanitizing water, medical treatment, hygiene and entry. This pouch is very durable and rugged, it's been a lot of places and still looks new without any damage or wear that I can see, but be aware that if you put things into the elastic bands that they will stretch and loosen over time so things that fit snugly before will slide out if they are smooth and heavy like a multi-tool, the way around that would be putting something slightly oversized but I don't believe that would be necessary, you might damage the bands and you surely will not be able to close the pouch. If you want a good EDC pouch get this one, I am very surprised at how many things fit into this, you would be surprised as well, I still, with everything I said I had inside of it, it still has a lot of room for more and it will still close, just don't expect it to be lightweight if you are carrying a lot of stuff, I recommend carrying it in a backpack side pouch or belt if you need to.

Nobody's Perfect
This is a very good pouch, and I generally can't say enough about the ruggedness of Maxpedition gear, but the Fatty seems to slightly exceed the limitations inherent in the clamshell design. The Fatty is absolutely well crafted. The material is bulletproof, so to speak. The zippers and elastic bands are high quality, and I expect them to last a long time. This offering is also bigger than its EDC and Mini cousins from the same line, and you can fit a lot into it (see customer image). The main problem that I find with the Fatty is that more will fit into it than can be comfortably secured. As a result, you either end up with a big awkward bulge in the center with empty space around the edges, or you pack every crevice of the thing and stuff is just kind of thrown in there haphazardly. In either case, the zippers tend to stick a bit going around the corners. Beyond that, this case is really too big to comfortably carry in a the external pockets of anything I own, and so it usually ends up inside whatever pack I'm carrying. Personally, I find it to be less convenient than the regular EDC or mini, both of which come together tightly and neatly when everything is secured and fit into a lot more places. The basic utility of the Fatty is beyond question. I think it would be great for a glove box emergency kit. For day-to-day use, at least in my case, I would take two Mini's over one Fatty any day.

Lots of room, Organization, quality, and durabilty.
I'm new to the "Preparedness" idea, if that's 1 day, or many days, but spending alot of time on the road as a salesperson, I found myself often searching for items I didn't have readily available. So I came across this organizer, and figured it would be perfect to throw in the backpack that I carry daily. It has kind of evolved over time, with things that I find myself needing more often, or will put in/take out just for what I might need that day. I was suprised with how much "stuff", I could put in this organizer, in what really looks like a small package, but i can really cram alot of useful items, whether they are bulky or small, and keep them well organized. The quality of the canvas is good, and I havent worried about the zippers popping, even when I have it really stuffed. I may upgrade to those Maxpedition Zipper pulls, but thats really bc I just think they are nice. I'm very happy with this purchase, and would look to buy more Maxpedition organizers in different sizes in the future.

I couldn't be happier...
I needed a edc organizer of some sort as I take frequent road trips along with being an AAA roadside service tech. I found myself constantly needing little odds & ends to get through long days or situations I needed a little MacGyver-ing to get someone going. I started out with the Maxpedition Mini Pocket Organizer, which is great, but I soon realized I had ordered something too small for my needs. While my needs constantly change & evolve this pouch has continued to be accepting & flexible. I keep thinking one day I'll max it out & need something bigger but I've had this for a few years now & I've had zero issues with it. Good quality, great construction, strong zipper, molle straps on back, front pouch, & a nice velcro area for your favorite patch. A small list of items I keep in this for my edc/work edc are... - Eagletac d25c clicky - Leatherman Skeletool CX - Leatherman Style CS - Leatherman Charge AL - Leatherman assorted 40 bit kit - Ka-bar bk11 w/ TDI clip - 5 pack Irwin bimetal blades - Burts Bees lip balm - Bic lighter - Duracell reversible screwdriver - a dozen black zip ties - Powerocks USB portable battery - 2 spare Surefire 123a batteries - misc pens/pencils - misc rubber bands/paperclips/bobby pins - Moleskin (orange) classic notebook - Canon Powershot a2300 - 2 16gb Transcend sdhc cards - charging cable for Android phone - 3.5mm male to male (1/8 inch) mini audio cable Anyhow, this organizer is a great pack for edc needs and I have encouraged people to see what this can do. This is an excellent edc/work edc organizer for me.

Maxpedition Medium Fatty Pocket Organizer-Highly Recommended!!
This is a great organizer! I originally bought this to be my everyday carry organizer. While this is very roomy, and at the upper limit of what I would consider "pocket-sized", I just had too much stuff to fit in here. To clarify, all my items actually DID fit, but it was seriously bulging, and just not what I was looking for. So, now I am turning this into a backpacking/EDC trauma/first aid kit. This kit is "designed in the USA", but made overseas, which is disappointing, but the quality is still impressive. The zippers are inverted to make them water resistant and the fabric is coated to increase water resistance. Initially, the zippers were a little rough, but after a couple of days of use, they glide open and closed very smoothly. There is plenty of room for most EDC carry items. Before I switched to the Maxpedition Beefy, I carried a knife, strap cutter, headlamp, ac/dc adapter, pen, pocket screwdriver, tourniquet, AA flashlight, tire gauge, sharpie, lighter, spare batteries, headphones, USB/lightning cord, earbuds, duct tape, and other things. The elastic straps inside are strong, maybe too strong, but they will hold their elasticity over time, instead of loosing their stretch which is common. The Maxpedition quality is evident, and I am confident it will last a long time. I highly recommend this organizer!

The good and the bad
Good: Great quality perfect size and feels sturdy. Bad: The internal elastic straps on the right hand side is a bit loose.
