Uesd in poor signal area. 4g slow 10mb down 3 up No 5G With antanna 4G 50mb down 40 up 5G 100 plus down 40 up It took some time to find the best position and direction to mass, but worth it.

Wanted an external 5G aerial for my Teltonika RUTX50 router and purchased this one mainly because it came with extension leads and adaptors. It’s not a cheap aerial and there are others from Pointing etc with more reviews at a similar price. I live on a second floor flat with other blocks of flats close by so opted for-an omnidirectional style aerial. This one did increase my download speeds over the blade antennas supplied with my router by a little. But substantially increased my upload speeds and also allowed me to reposition my router away from the window. I purchased a wall bracket to mount this aerial and then purchased a different one so it could be placed a lot nearer the wall. Everyone will have a mounting requirement according to their situation and you will have to buy the bracket and maybe a pole to position the aerial for your situation. Overall pleased with aerial it seems well made, waterproof and has a weight which inspires a little confidence in its contents

Unfortunately I had to return this item. Like I said the item is very well made but a connection issue happened. 8th May 2024 A follow up to my original review. I received a full refund for this item, thank you! I also received a message from the supplier regarding an accessory to add to another of their antenna range which I have purchased. I am pleased to say I have ordered this extension cable from Amazon today, and are looking forward to receiving it. The customer service from LEO at WIRELESSCOM was 1st class, thank you.

Well I was sceptical at First but with of bit tweaking I can confirm this works well with window pass through I'm impressed when I switch back to original internal no 5g at all I know where mask are, works to my advantage so pointed into direction with signal checker and I beleive I have achieved best signal it's shame I'm not nearer mask I get 900mb with phone but for price it was bargain.

I'm about a mile away from the mast but I'm down hill from it with buildings and trees in the way . I have it mounted on a 3 ft J pole on the wall next to the router ( I'm in a bungalow) and have the antenna slightly pointing up . I've gone from 90mbps to 220 mbps, ( on average ) it has hit 374 mbps in the early hours . EE network .

I don't really need one of these, I live in a city, not a nice place but internet speeds are blazing fast. However I work from home and for health issues I frequently relocate to my sons for weeks at a time, he lives in a very rural village near the seaside, absolutely gorgeous but the internet seems not to like it overmuch and speeds vary from slow to reverse at times. As I need a connection to work I ordered this to save having to constantly connect to my phone data which is a different network than the 5g home router he has, cable and the like just never got there, and his only option is this, I won't name and shame his network but he doesn't get close to the supposed speeds they promised. For now we decided to mount this indoors, Heath Robinson style, on a spare shower pole in the upstairs room I use as an office when I am there, an easy enough job despite the instructions in the box being a couple of photocopied A4 sheets. Connecting up to his ZYXEL (NR5103E) was simplicity itself as all the different connectors you could need are included in the box and after a bit of trial and error, shifting the pole around, we did see some improvement in the signal, speeds are not significantly better but stability is. For now we have put this down to how it is mounted, the house is an old cottage with thick stone walls so I do thing things will improve if we mount it outside, though to do this we need to find a suitable pole and some more cable. Watch this space.

I must say this 4X4 MIMO 4G 5G Antenna from "Maswell", has to be the "bees knees" [as they say] for this 10dBi High Gain External Antenna, 4G LTE 5G NR 5GA 600-8000MHz, the Complete Kit suitable for Routers & Gateways​​ and for Vodafone O2 Three EE, it is even WiFi 7 Ready. From an excellent spec point of view, it Supports all global communication standards including 3G/4G/LTE/5G NR/5GA and WiFi 6E/7, and even uses Patented MIMO technology significantly enhancing signal quality. For peace of mind, 'Maswell' say to Read the manual before use; and 'Maswell' will provide support for any issues. Other things to remember are to Enable external antenna mode on the router and restart it, important. I also love the fact this 180° directional antenna design balances the ease of omnidirectional antennas with the strength of directional antennas, and Installation is as simple as omnidirectional antennas, yet performance is as good as directional antennas. The box came with a wealth of extras too, for most scenarios, easy to fit too, brackets / nuts included, even 2 bags of adapters for other router antenna input sockets, in fact all I needed was either a small pole outside (say 10 feet), or just attach the Antenna to wall outside, within "cable" range of the 4g 5g router. (4 quality cables and plugs included). But here is the best test, which is a way to show the whole setup easily on one flat image: When I connected my 4g 5g router to my laptop, (without this quality 'Maswell' 4x4 MIMO 4G 5G antenna) I received the normal almost tolerable speed of around 20 Megbits, (see one of my images), and then, when I connected the 'Maswell' antenna to the 4G 5G router (2 rear sockets), in the same position (and bear in mind for photographic use, the antenna was even indoors at the time), the speed increased to 60 Megbits (3 times which is incredible), so imagine what this must be like when the antenna is actually outdoors on the wall or a pole, again within cable reach of the 4G 5G router. I have included images of my 4G 5G sim router without the antenna, and then images of the same 4G 5G sim router being used with this amazing antenna, the signal strength / internet speed can clearly be seen using a speed-tester program. Thank you again to 'Maswell', at the time of writing (Sept 2025), truly, can anything get better than this.

We had some reservations about this product when we initially considered ordering it, and to be honest, we had even more reservations when the product arrived. Even though the individual components appeared to be reasonably well packaged, the cheaply photocopied instructions taped to the inside of the box lid did not inspire confidence in manufacturing quality at all. However, installation was relatively straightforward on an outdoors exposed wall, with drilling for a cable the only real effort required for connection. There has been a marked improvement in the stability of Wi-Fi connectivity for various devices throughout the house, download speeds also appear to be marginally better, although for the price, some may end up being disappointed with the overall speed increase.
