I used these bags to help compress clothes in my luggage. It does save a lot of space in the suitcase. This set comes with a handheld vacuum pump to suck out the air from the bag and works really well. It doesn't change the weight of the clothes, but the volume. Also, the clothing becomes solid/hard so it will not provide any cushioning in the suitcase. Definitely a great way to save of space. I only had to use a couple for my suitcase. I plan to use the larger bags for my blankets at home. The directions were easy to follow and there was no air leakage.

This was probably the best money I have spent on Amazon in a while! Easy to use, variety of sizes, very spacious. I accidentally poked a hole in one but that was MY bad cuz finger nails. I used the smallest bags so far and still have bags left. The little machine will need an extension cord cuz it's short but works really well. They are not flimsy like the ones at walmart. The zipper is difficult to open at first but easy to close with the little plastic piece. They are really roomy. As far as travel? Idk. I use them for storage mainly cuz college students. As far as that goes, I have only had 1 bag deflate and I'm pretty sure it was because I threw it and it made impact with the wall, lol. So, they are durable.

This is amazing! First it arrived super quick. Second, this tiny vacuum literally can flatten the contents in the bag. Plug in the vacuum, vacuum/flatten then bag, cap up the bag, and you are done!It works perfectly and all the flattened bags save so much space! My kids got the hang of it, now their winter clothes are all bagged and flattened. So much easier than getting gigantic storage bins. Highly recommend!

These worked great! We have used them twice. You can get lots of clothes in the bags and they shrink so much that you can get more clothes in your suitcase.

Amazing! Very useful and great consumer's support. My pump stopped working after a few bags, I contacted them and sent a replacement right away.

My first review was a one star because the bag lost its seal quite quickly. I started the return process but after packing the bags for return and thinking about it for a few days, I decided to give them a second chance fearing I may have not given them a fair chance the first try. I unpacked and retried the same bag that had failed me the first time. The only thing I can figure out is that using the little black sealer thingy I left a wee little opening, so I tried the bag again yesterday afternoon and paid closer attention to the sealing process; it's been 24 hours now and the bag is still holding its seal. I suspect that other poor reviews may have had the same problem I had, i.e., not paying close enough attention to the sealing process.I still maintain there should be cataloging of the bags in the box so one doesn't have to pull out any number of bags to find the right size. However, this isn't enough reason to drop a star.I would recommend this product but caution the user to pay close attention to the sealing process.Original review:The first thing I found upon opening the box was that there was no system that I could identify to tell which bag was which. I had all but three bags out before I found the 'large' one which I needed. It wold be very helpful to have a key or map on the outside to indicate which size bag is located where or have the bag size apparent on the bag when the box is opened rather than having to pull out any number of bags to find the needed one. The bags are labled as to size, but one has to pull out the bag to see this.The first bag we tried vacuumed nicely but within a few minutes started to reinflate. I checked the seal and found I hadn't sealed it properly, so I resealed it using one of the little black thingys. Again the vacuum device worked perfectly (really a nifty littly vacuum machine). This time the bag took much longer to reinflate, but reinflate it did. I decided at that point I just didn't have the time to start trying other bags looking for one that wouldn't lose its vacuum. What are the odds that the first of 24 was, coincidentally, the only one that wouldn't hold a vacuum?Incidentally, I was surprised that Amazon is now charging to have merchandise returned via UPS - a buck if one has the original package, $6 something without the packaging.

I was trying to figure out a way to store a 30x60 tarp and a 20x30 tarp. They are extra super heavy duty. There was a bag sized perfectly for each. The pump that came with it doesn't turn out so that was a bummer but I didn't know it came with one anyway.

Product is great and does as it should, HOWEVER, while sealing a bag the pump shorted out, sparked and started smoking. We will have to replace it. Otherwise, it's a great product, easy to use, bags are nice and thick although the snap seal is a bit of a pain sometimes but it's nice that is double zips/seals at the top. Worked great for us to safe space while camping and on vacation.
