The best SAK in the alox range
The Victorinox alox SAK’s are attractive and useable.Combining the most frequently accessed tools such as the scissors and the awl with the benefit of the saw and a multitude of other options. This will be a tool that has the potential to last a very long time and the alox scales add to its design and function.

The perfect Victorinox multi tool at last!
The best Victorinox knife for my needs. I have a few Victorinox knives but this one has my most frequently used tools. Great grip, very sturdy. I would thoroughly recommend.

Love this neat, compact tool.
Typical high quality tool from this renowned manufacturer. I love the Alox variants. They look and feel great and are extra compact. Fit into even the slimiest, most confined EDC kit.

Perfect pocket knife
I think this may be my favourite Swiss Army Knife!Find the size and weight no issue for EDC, but can understand this may not suit everyone. The quality is as expected from Victorinox, they just always get it right.I prefer the alox scales to traditional cellidor, for a four layer SAK this does not feel bulky when handling it. The only slight negative is the position of the keyring, it can dig into the hand due to its positioning. It seems to be slightly different angle to other SAKs I own.I considered the Farmer but could not do without the scissors so opted for the Farmer X, I do not regret this as they are one of my most used tools and the alox scales keep the knife slim even with an extra layer. To sum up, you should buy this knife.

The only penknife you will ever need.
I have the Farmer Alox, which I thought was the best penknife ever, then saw they did the Farmer Alox X, which now includes Victorinox's brilliant scissors! I had to get one and I'm more than glad I did. Although it adds another layer and therefore makes it slightly more bulky, the usefulness of the scissors makes up for that 100 times over. Strangely the blade I probably use the most is the fantastic awl/reamer. Unlike the standard SAK's, this one comes out in line with the handle rather than at 90 degree's to it and is very sharp along it's edge and point. I use it for opening packages, making pilot holes for screws, scoring, marking, scraping and umpteen other jobs. The Alox body feels great in the hand (I often find myself just fondling it!) It wont break if you drop it, like plastic scales can and I rarely use the tweezers or toothpicks in the standard models anyway. I have several other models of SAK and this is the one I always carry and never feel under-tooled. It is a bargain for it's quality and would be at twice the price.

.
wasn't sure about getting the alox victorinox at first due to losing a few tools. but now it's arrived it's become my favourite carry. it's sturdy and once the tools are opened they seem to sit better allowing assured use

Superb knife. Awfully packed…
Again, an excellent Vic Alox. Again, box obliterated in transit due to insufficient care during the packaging phase by Amazon. When bought as a gift, you want the original box. This happens all the time. As I’ve mentioned in previous comments, only with the blister-packed Vic SAKs, can I expect to receive the knife with original packaging intact. Shame really
