The insulated food jar keeps hot food hot enough for hours. It affords you the comfort of not searching for a microwave, especially if one isn’t available.

Not holding food warm/hot for more than 4 hours.
Cannot hold more than 30 oz if you want to be able to put the lid on. That is 25% less than claimed. Cannot keep food warm/hot for longer than 4 hours (even if the container is filled with boiling water beforehand). That is 50% less than claimed. Can be very difficult to open because both the container and the lid are very smooth. Bad engineering! The spoon is a joke and holds less than a normal teaspoon. I'm still not sure whether I should keep it or return it.
