Obviously the author has this scanner as he gives his settings that he's found the best.I'm ordering another title for my 705 radio

VERY HELPFUL. A USEFUL AND DETAILED EXPOSITION WHICH HELPS ENORMOUSLY ANYONE LIKE MYSELF WHO FINDS THE NEW DIGITAL TOUCH MENU DRIVEN SYSTEMS SOMEWHAT BAFFLING.AM USING THE LATEST MALAHIT DSP 2, WHICH IS AMAZING.

Looks good good quality but little hard to tune

If you’ve bought a Malahit DSP2 SDR radio and like me need a lot of help in trying to learn how to use its array of features and understand its capabilities you definitely need this book. Whilst the instruction manual supplied is decent enough it is nowhere near as comprehensive and detailed as this book in explaining how to operate the vast amount of options available to the user in setting up the receiver and in customising various aspects of its Audio and Visual performance and appearance. It is definitely a steep learning curve for me but this book is invaluable as a guide and I can thoroughly recommend it. The only criticism I have is that the photos in the book are all in black and white, coloured ones would have been more informative and clearer.

Not here to sell the radio, but it's brilliant for the money (purchased for £220 from Ali) but this book covers just about everything you'll need to know in the first few months of ownership.I'm depth book from a trusted author. Only a chapter on HF SWL antennas could be useful, but the info is out there.Get the radio, buy and read the book while you wait for delivery!
