This magic set is good for kids. Far from professional but still good. My kids had alot of fun with this. Comes with so many different tricks you can do. The instructions were clear and easy to read.

There are lots of magic tricks you can do with this kit that will impress the kids, and the price seems quite good for what you get. The parts are all plastic, and they're all neatly contained in plastic packaging, so a careful child can store the magic set for use again and again.However, there are some important downsides:1. The box prominently displays "AGES 6+," but that's very misleading. In the title of the product page, you can see that it mentions "tricks for kids ages 6-8" and "magic sets for kids 10-12." That means that kids ages 6-8 will make a good audience, but don't let them think they can use the magic set to perform tricks - they'll just be disappointed. I tried teaching my 8-year-old granddaughter, and despite her high intelligence and great interest, she lacks the reading comprehension and manual dexterity to follow the instructions. I suspect kids ages 10-12 might be able to use the magic set, but that's where the next downside comes into play.2. The instructions are many pages of small, densely-worded text with few illustrations. There's a QR link on the box to a video that you should watch first, but it's just a demonstration - it does NOT show how to perform the tricks. The manual is printed in a tiny font size, and there's so much text that it's intimidating even for a full-grown adult. I sometimes had trouble figuring out which pieces of the set the manual was talking about. I wish they had an online manual with plentiful illustrations and videos, plus a way to sort tricks in several ways (by ease of learning, by genre, by the pieces of the magic set that are used, etc.). It would also be nice if they had a quick-start document with the 10 easiest tricks to perform, each with lots of illustrations (and links to videos).As with too many things I buy, customer satisfaction suffers thanks to poor documentation.

My bonus grandkid loves this kit and is really enjoying how to do each trick based on the cards that were included. Lots of little parts but does include everything one should need.Practice makes better and I’m hearing a lot of “watch this abra ca Santa’s” and lots of giggles and smiles. So worth it

Gave this as a gift and it was a big hit. Nothing incredibly fancy but easy enough for kids to pick up and dazzle with (they seem to learn showmanship instantly with this! :) Was a birthday gift but the whole family loved it and the kids (5-10) do magic tricks and shows. A fun alternative to screens and games.

We got this thinking that the 12-year-old may think it was too plastic-y and childish but have been surprised by his reaction. He loves it! The tricks are small and plastic; about the same as similarly priced sets, but there are a lot. each trick is on a card. The instructions are not great, but mostly follow-able. Pleasantly impressed with this set!

So this has quite a few magic acts included.Some are pretty good some are not so good.A lot of the old standards that I remember performing when I was a kid.If your child has any aspirations at all for magic performances this is a great starter.Pretty good value for the price.Overall pretty pleased.

Interesting set for a kid to play around with and be entertained with. Quality is not top notch.
