High end quality, low end price.
This product seems much better quality than the price would suggest. I bought it with the Asvine ‘fine’ nib which is smooth and works very well with the Diamine inks I have tried. Currently used on a daily basis - performance is superb. High quality finishes and clean design - looks like a modern classic.

A stunning pen and a treat to write with.
I am now the happy owner of these two pens. Normally, I do pro's and con's, but I can not find any con's with this fountain pen. The pen feels far superior to similar big brand pen I have. The body is solid and the nib is very smooth and the feed works a treat. No blobs or dropouts. The vacuum filling is smooth and I have not experienced any ink burbs. Even with a fine nib, I can still use a richer ink without the nib getting clogged up. It takes a bit longer to clean for an ink change than a cartridge pen, but I think it is worth it.

Asvine V200, Titanium with fine nib.
Fancied a new fountain pen as there's always space for just one more, and I'd not had an Asvine before. I have to say I'm really impressed with this pen. I opted for the fine nib. The build quality is excellent, no rough edges, the screw threads on the cap are smooth . It is really well finished. I gave it a rinse with cold water then filled with ink. The vacuum fill works well, but like many vac fillers it only fills around half way, but this is still more ink than a cartridge or converter will hold. It wrote perfectly, straight out of the box. The nib is fairly wet which suits my writing style with no scratchiness. It is quite a weighty pen which I like, but it is a little top heavy if posted. Unposted it feels well balanced. Overall It is a delight to write with and I can see myself getting a couple more Asvine pens.

A lovely looking pen that does not function well
A pen that looks really well made and attractive. Sadly performance does not match. Two main problems-both aggravated by the seller responses to my requests for help. Firstly the piston is stiff - so much so that 2 hands are needed, one to hold the barrel the other to push in the piston-then it gives way suddenly threatening to knock over the ink bottle. Secondly the ink flow is insufficient so the pen skips. On trying to get more ink into the nib I pushed on the piston and because it gives way suddenly ink shot all over my paper. On explaining this to the seller they gave a link to a promotional video which showed the pen being held by one hand and the piston pushed in by one finger. Misrepresentation. Also they refused to accept that the pen skips.

Great performance
Incredible pen for this money which compares to pens several times this value in my collection.

Thanks, I hate it.
Will write beautifully for a paragraph or two, then suddenly dry up and it’s a hell of a battle to get it going again every time, and whatever you’re writing will get thoroughly messed up in the process. Guaranteed failure every time if you’re writing for more than a couple of minutes. I thought I was missing a trick but searching online proved I’m doing everything I’m meant to and there are loads of people reporting the same issue. It’s a pretty pen but avoid it. - stick with Asvine pistons. I love my P36 so much I bought a second one. They’re cheaper, too.

Returned for refund - does not merit the on-line positive reviews.
Why did you choose this product over others?: I ordered this based on the many positive reviews. The standard nib/feed is poor in terms of ink flow and the writing experience. Pen quality: It's well built but the grip section is not grippy, I found it to be an unpleasant, and slipy - I didn't want to write with this pen. Returned it for a refund.

Smooth writing, great design and superb ink flow control
I ordered this with some apprehension due to the reviews that mentioned the ink flow is not good. I had to come here to say, that this pen has the MOST ink flow control of my entire collection, so I thought I would explain how it works. When I purchased the pen, I received an image file from the seller, explaining that for extended writing, the top cap should be unscrewed to allow for air flow. You have to take into account that this is a vacuum system, so it makes sense that airflow into the barrell would be limited when writing, and as ink gets spent, it would create a diminished ink flow. If you just want to write something small this is no problem; if you find that the ink flow starts to diminish, I find that unscrewing the top just a bit restores ink flow. You can then play around with it, and keep it slightly open or close it again. I hope this helps. Enjoy your writing!

Looking for a premium fountain pen that won't make your wallet weep? Look no further
A very good fountain pen that punches way above it's price point. I have two of these and despite some complaints about the blank cap being out of alignment, I have never had this happen on either of my 2 V200s, and never seen that happen on my friends' ones either. The vacuum system is very convenient and holds quite a bit more ink that regular piston converters, and is very reliable AND user-serviceable with the wrench they include. I highly recommend getting this with the Asvine 3-nib kit as it gives you more options if you want to change nib thickness. If budget is a concern, the V126 is also an excellent choice, and is quite similar to the more expensive Pilot Custom 823 for a fraction of the price.

Bad vac filler system
The vac filler threads shear against the titanium threads. Now it doesn't catch on the threads. I have to push it quite firm to screw on.
