This is an excellent quality 411g Tin of Mixed Fruit Cocktail by Amazon, Fruit Mix in Juice, with a very refreshing taste, and is very good value for money. It is a large sized Tin of Mixed Fruit Cocktail, with wonderful tasty pieces of Fruit in Juice. It is very versatile dessert after a main course meal. This Mixed Fruit Cocktail can be served either on its own, or with condensed milk or evaporated milk, or even with custard. It can be served in a trifle dessert, set in jelly, and with a custard or cream topping. I picked this up as a long life dessert. We used to have fruit salad and ice cream when i was a kid and it was always a winner so i decided to give this a try. The tins have ring pulls so they are easy to open. The fruit is in good condition and sweet. There is lots of juice which can be drained off for a drink or mixer for cocktails. The juice doesn't have any unpleasant sourness or chemical taste from a preservative which is always good. The variety of fruit is good and the size and softness is ideal for both young kids and older Nana. I wasn't too keen on the grapes as they tasted a bit bland, but the rest made up for it. With a portion of drained fruit i added a scoop of ice cream and the family had a dessert ready to eat with no cooking in less than a couple of minutes. The shelf life is really long (over a year if i remember right) on these so they are ideal for stashing in the cupboard or stocking up ready for bad weather. I use these for numerous different things including adding to small pots then pouring (Sugar free) jelly over, after it sets a scoop a little low fat custard on top & hey presto I have healthier snacks in the fridge ready to eat

Amazon make quite a good job of this at the price. I really prefer the Dole little plastic cups, but I can get similar at 8 for a pound in farm foods so stuck with these for a while and was not disappointed

I bought a couple of these for purely nostalgic reasons. It sparked a thought: huh, you don't really see supermarkets like Tesco pushing their own-brand fruit cocktails like they used to, and after tasting this, I can guess why. Amazon's version is a pretty typical tinned fruit cocktail. It's incredibly sweet, which is hardly surprising. Yes, it’s swimming in ‘fruit juice’, but that juice is from grape concentrate, which is only a notch down from the pure syrup of yesteryear. Most of the useful vitamins and beneficial goodness have been obliterated by the canning process anyway. Honestly, if you want long-life fruit, just buy frozen. It's easy to see why this isn't a product supermarkets are falling over themselves to promote anymore. You'd be hard-pressed to frame this as 'healthy' with a straight face. It’s a convenient, sugary snack for when you want to pretend you’re making a good choice. A solid three stars for ticking the nostalgia box.

I've been repeatedly ordering this as its the perfect balance of fruits, not overly sweet, and no artificial taste. The overall texture is medium firmness, not mushy like the offerings from other brands. I often use it for fruit salads or breakfast toppers but overall it's a great pantry staple to have on hand.

Ich kaufe öfter Dosenfrüchte für Müsli oder Desserts und habe diesmal den Fruchtcocktail von "by Amazon" ausprobiert. Hier ist mein Eindruck: 1. Geschmack & Süße Was mir sofort positiv aufgefallen ist: Die Früchte liegen in Traubensaft statt in klebrigem Zuckersirup. Das macht den Geschmack deutlich natürlicher und weniger "pappsüß". Man schmeckt die einzelnen Fruchtsorten noch gut heraus, und der Saft selbst lässt sich auch wunderbar weiterverwenden (z. B. im Smoothie). 2. Fruchtmischung & Konsistenz Die Mischung ist ausgewogen. Oft hat man bei günstigen Cocktails nur harte Birnenstücke, aber hier war das Verhältnis zwischen Pfirsichen, Birnen, Ananas und Weintrauben wirklich gut. • Konsistenz: Die Früchte sind weich, haben aber noch Biss und sind nicht matschig. • Optik: Die Stücke sind gleichmäßig geschnitten, was besonders toll aussieht, wenn man den Cocktail in einem Glas-Dessert serviert. 3. Verpackung Die 411g-Dose hat die perfekte Größe für zwei Portionen. Die Dose ließ sich (bei mir) problemlos öffnen, und die Früchte waren bis oben hin gut mit Saft bedeckt. Mein Fazit: ✅ Vorteile: • Kein zugesetzter Industriezucker (Traubensaft-Basis). • Früchte sind knackig und nicht zerkocht. • Sehr faires Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für die Qualität. ❌ Nachteile: • Ehrlich gesagt keine gefunden – für ein Konservenprodukt top! Zusammenfassend: Eine tolle Alternative zu den bekannten Markenprodukten. Schmeckt fast wie selbst geschnitten und ist ideal als Vorrat im Schrank. Werde ich definitiv wieder bestellen!

Buonissima e comoda

Nice as it’s zero sugar, wish there was far more like it, all seems to be in sugar syrup! Cannot understand why? Often see pineapple without sugar but that’s it, so although costly this is nice to have.

Essas frutas são deliciosas. Vem conservada em suco e são muito bem preparadas. Uso para fazer sorvete e sucos de frutos Mistos, principalmente quando as frutas que mais gostamos já se encontram fora de época e estou muito satisfeita, provavelmente comprarei de novo. Recomendo a todos pela praticidade e pela qualidade dos ingredientes.
