DECKED Truck Bed Storage System with System Accessories | Compatible with RAM 1500 (2009-2018) 1500 Classic (2019-current) 5'7"

We all know, trucks are not known for storage. So, after a few different ideas of cresting more storage (canopy, truck box, etc), I bit the bullet and ordered a Decked system for my Ram Power Wagon. OMG...the best! It did take a bit to put together (not that I did it, had the hubby and his friend do it!), but once in, everything is wonderful, and I have places to put things, like emergency items, tools, and other odds and ends. Those boxes are sturdy as all get out, but just a warning - once those rubber seals are in the boxes, the latches are VERY difficult to snap, so be mindful. The drawers are easy to open and close, but secure once closed, and give plenty of storage space for a non construction work truck. I lost half my truck bed space (I do have a cap on my truck), so if you plan on sleeping in the back, keep that in mind if you use an air mattress, but plenty of space left over for the things I do (Falconry, scuba, range rifle shooting). Customer service was top notch - I had emailed them, concerned about the signing for delivery as I work during the week and no way to take a day off to be there to sign, but Decked called me within the hour of the email and allayed any worries by telling me the delivery company would call me and arrange for date and time frame. The delivery driver was polite and patient as we opened the box up to verify no damage (the box had damage, but nothing inside was damaged or missing). Took about three hours to put together and install (mostly because the two men pshawed the written directions until they realized they probably should have read them...and ended up finding vids to watch and follow - which, if you have not done so, WATCH. A couple of those videos are hilarious!) All in all, my husband is jealous of my Decked system and I get compliments left and right. BEST MONEY SPENT...and OMG, STORAGE! ***I received no compensation for this review, other than the satisfaction of money well spent and definitely impressed with everything, from customer service to an excellent product.***

This thing is awesome. Solid and functional, does what it suppose to do and isnt chincy (cheap - not sure how to spell that) it doesnt have cheap parts and has metal where it needs to. Impressive. Shipping via freight is interesting but had no issues whatsoever except for a big palette to dispose of. I wont say it is simple to install but the videos online are great and it goes together nicely. Highly recommended.

Assembling the parts takes time to put together the major assemblies, but once the two sections are together installing the pieces into the bed of the truck and the drawers into that major assemblies was easy. I did it by myself, pitch black at night while snowing in about 15 mins. It doesn't require two people like the instructions say, if you're able to pick up 75 pounds you can assemble and then install this yourself in a couple hours. They work great, don't leak so far. Roll easy with weight in the drawers, I have no idea how you are expected to reach a drain plug if you buy that accessory, it's all the way in the front of the drawers next to the cab, so unless you have six-foot arms good luck, other than that I think this is an excellent addition to a truck.

I installed this in my 2018 Ram 2500 short bed. Little trimming on the corners but it fits and tailgate closes as it should. I did not put the gutter on the front since it is against my cab. Drawers roll easily and lots of room! Fit inside the wheel wells as it should. I did not have to add the additional anchors required for the long bed version as it worked with my existing hooks.

The item was worth every penny — it’s quality product. The assembly took time, but it wasn’t hard at all. Highly recommended! The only reason for the 4 star is because the logistic company that the seller worked with, XPO Logistic, was a nightmare. The item was delivered so much later than expected. When I followed up, the company wasn’t able to find/track the item. I had to call three different departments just to get an update. It was a frustrating process.

Love this storage system. Came LTL carrier on a pallet, no issues or damage. Installed it into the back of my 2014 Ram 1500. It took me about 3 hours by myself. The instructions recommend a friend to lift the assembled halves into the bed, but not required. Lift one end, tip it up, and slide it in. Go easy on tightening the J-bolts at the corners, it will make the center bow up slightly. Another nice feature is that my DeeZee truck toolbox still fit in over the DECKED bed. The DECKED videos for installation and use are right on the money, very well produced! Only rated at 5 stars because there is no 6th star.

I have had different storage systems in different trucks I have owned. This is by far the best. Easy installation. with instructions. Durable Water proof weather proof, even in Canada's -40c Drawers open and close smoothly, Even after a year of use (yes I bought this over a year ago). Worth every penny Not a drop of water goes in the drawers, even when you go through a car wash. Winter, ice melts . not a drop as well. Easy to clean. Well built Don't waste your money or time on anything else.

Arrived very fast, instructions easy to follow (and funny!) and was heavier duty than I expected. It's expensive, but totally worth it. No regrets. A month later after tons of snow and rain the drawers are still perfectly dry.

Le principal problème est la perte d'utilisation du dernier 24" de rangement des tiroirs. Un système de rails et de support qui permettrait d'ouvrir la longueur du tiroir devrait être ajouté.

It's a great idea. But there's limited access to half of the two drawers. You need a pole with a hook to retrieve anything that falls to the back them. Wouldn't purchase again. Buy a quality bedslide instead.
