great for retro computers
I got this for a vic 20 computer emulator and it was the right way to go here. The keyboard mouse pad combo it easy to use and needs not setup at all.It is well made and compact yet offers everything you need.this gets a 10 out of 10 for working with an older computer.

Compact keyboard with built in trackball.
Automatically worked on a motherboard with dual PS/2 ports. I didn't try it on a board with one port and a breakout cable, but I can't think of a reason that wouldn't be OK as well. The key layout makes it a little awkward to type on, as some buttons are small, and some things are shifted around. Initially I kept missing hitting the backspace key, and the spacebar isn't centered on G and H like most are. There are clear pictures of the layout, so that isn't really a fair complaint. The keys feel like some older laptop keyboards, and the mouse clicks are fine, not great. The ball is a little rough to spin, and the tracking skips or stalls more than a fancy trackball, but it is tiny so that's not really surprising. I do like the rigidity of the chassis. It has a little flex in the middle, but it feels sturdier than I was expecting.

Nice compact keyboard for when you need it
A handy keyboard and mouse combination for those times when you need it. This is for situations when you're working on either vintage PCs (PS/2 era) or server equipment. Instead of using a trackpad, which I find annoying, you have a trackball, which is a lot more manageable. My only gripe being that the placement of the trackball is a bit annoying, but it's not that terribly bad, given the size of the keyboard. Otherwise, it is an excellent keyboard and mouse. It's also small and easy to store when not in use.

Does not work in BIOS
So I ordered this to go with an HP mini ProDesk I recently got. The small footprint and all-in-one aspects drew me in. However, after some use, I can't recommend. I can't attest to all systems, but for mine, the keys, trackball, and mouse buttons do not work in the BIOS.The trackball left/right moves the cursor vertically, and no horizontal movement from the trackball works. Instead, clicking the mouse buttons moves the cursor horizontally. Strange. And sadly, the keyboard does not function in BIOS. I am able to press escape to get to the BIOS, but then none of the Function keys, or arrow keys, or enter or escape work after that. With another keyboard, I was able to get around, and in certain BIOS-adjacent programs, this keyboard does work (like in a hardware test program, etc.).But since I can't even get to a boot menu and pick a boot drive, this makes it impossible not to have another keyboard nearby in order to do these things when necessary. In fact, I couldn't even keep this keyboard plugged in while using another keyboard to navigate; it seems to block the other keyboard from working when both are plugged in at the same time.I bet the fault is not solely on the keyboard, as it seems some low-level programs can read it just fine, and every distro of Linux and in Windows 10/11 that I tested, once booted into their installers or live mode, the keys, trackball, and mouse buttons worked as expected. So if you're not someone who ever even thinks about BIOS, this could work for you! The only major lacking feature is that there is no scrolling control. It's arrow keys or finding the scrollbar with the cursor. Also, agreeing with another reviewer, the keys themselves are not great; mushy is the word I would use. Also I found backspace and control to feel out of place for where my fingers expected them to be. A little getting used to would help.Overall, I like the concept, but this product doesn't deliver for me, and I definitely can't recommend at almost $50.

Compact keyboard / mouse combo.
This keyboard and rollerball comes with old style PS2 connectors. The only reason I got this was for an aging PC that had these connectors (I'm talking really old) in addition to the USB ones. I use it to stream things to my TV and was tired of managing a separate keyboard and mouse. This thing suits the task - occasional typing and occasional mouse movement, and it's small so doesn't clutter up the TV area. The keys are a little clunky, but that's the price to pay for it's compact size. That doesn't impact me as I'm not writing a novel on it.

Didn't know I needed this
This keyboard is perfect for a side PC or rarely accessed terminal. This small keyboard delivers on functionality. The PS2 connectors split into keyboard and mouse. I purchased a separate USB adapter which doesn't noticeably change response but does allow the device to plug&play (PS2 is not hot-pluggable and usually requires a reboot). The number-pad is overlain on the keys accessible by a Fn key in the bottom right. I recommend to set NumLock always off on boot (setting in BIOS). If you leave NumLock on during boot, it must be disabled to type normally. This is a feature, not a bug!The track ball is very responsive and I find myself picking up the keyboard like a controller to use the mouse function.Great keyboard, highly recommended!

Excellent for terminals
I will primarily be using this with server terminals but I also purchased a cheap ps/2 to USB connector and now this is my keyboard to bring when I'm not sure what hookup it will support. The keyboard is comfortable and the trackball being integrated is what makes this keyboard amazing. I feel it's reasonable for the price and would buy it again for the functionality.

Does what it sets out to do
This is a good sized keyboard for working on servers in a tight closet, or if you are just doing maintenance on older machines and have no desk space for a full keyboard and mouse. The typing feel is kinda mushy, but it's overall very rigid so it's not terrible to type on, though it's not great for your daily driver keyboard.
